The staff at other hotels could learn a lot from the staff here in terms of friendliness and helpfulness. I could not adjust the temperture in the room below 25 degrees all night and it wasn't until I was checking out that reception told me that they could programme it centrally. That might a useful bit of information to have in the room! |

Helpful desk staff. Central location. Access to Business School. The room was at the limit of what is acceptable for a hotel. I ordered poached eggs at breakfast and they forgot the order (there was no-one else in the dining room so the kitchen staff were not busy) I finally got the eggs 45 minutes later. |

The car parking was very easy and the breakfast the next morning was excellent It felt a bit "Tired" and the girl on reception was bit abrupt when we questioned the difference between the internet booking price and the price on arrival. Instead of trying to find out what we didn't understand she just argued with us to prove she was right. |

We had a handicap accessible room with three people in it. Our room was spacious for my sons wheelchair. The bathroom was fantastic for a wheelchair accessible bathroom. We were very happy to be able to sleep three people because often we have trouble sleeping three in a handicap accessible room. |

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were beyond that experienced in my travels both in Europe and the US. ALL staff were outstanding; it made staying in an inexpensive hotel exceptional. The entrance was poor but that is probably due to the situation of the hotel and it being fairly old. |

Staff were very pleasant, especially James in the restaurant Carpets in foyer and lifts were very dirty and crumpled looking. Flooring in the lifts had black gum all over it. I was told carpets were about to be replaced. I also didn't like lack of continental breakfast option - 'Grab and go' is not a concept I warm to. Lady let me sit in the restaurant however, but not everyone wants to eat on the go, or have a full english. |

Excellent location right in city centre yet the hotel room itself was very quiet. Ideal for a weekend break and very reasonably priced. |

I liked the location more than anything else as we were close to everything so didnt have to pay out much on transport, the staff were also very nice and helpful. I think the way the parking has to be done could be better, I would rather just pay once at the start of the trip or even daily but 3 times a day is a bit too much |
