Score from 713 reviews Good
One of the most unique hotels in Perth, set in a 15th century watermill, where you can still watch the water trickling through the original water wheel from the garden, reception area and Lounge Bar.
Score from 335 reviews Good
Situated in Perth city centre opposite the Concert Hall, this Premier Inn offers limited free onsite parking and an on-site restaurant.
Score from 136 reviews Fabulous
Just off the A9, a short distance from Perth’s town centre, the hotel offers free parking, free Wi-Fi, hot buffet breakfasts and clean, modern rooms at great-value rates.
Score from 296 reviews Very good
staff very friendly & helpful, very good breakfast choice & quality, nice restaurant/bistro
absence of toiletries apart from liquid soap, no tissues
Left before breakfast was served so sandwiches were put up.
Carpet in room filthy Noise from outside traffic, passers by very loud.
The breakfasts are excellent - good food, well presented. Being able to arrive late with no hitch on book in was also good.
The front desk is not always manned so had a few hiccups with trying to get hold of my room key. Fortunately I'd paid in advance because I had the same problem when trying to book out.
Convenience of location
Staff were execllant bar area and restaurants were fantastic.
Stairs very steep up to second floor beds very poor only got two hours sleep very hard beds carpet in room dirty and smelly .
Near rail station.and well located for shops.
Stairs in hotel was only problem.
Courteous staff, attractive dining room, bistro and reception area. Excellent breakfast.
Room a little tired but clean. Assume refurbishment is about to happen. Bistro meal a little bland.
Nice staff, very central location
I booked on the understanding that there was a car park. The 5 places, i assume were for staff as the cars that were crammed in and double parked didnt move. Hotel should advertise car parking is possible but very limited Also could have been a bit more choice for veggies at breakfast
Gorgeous eating area and food fab.
Size of room and stairs to room. Got lost a few times trying to find room. More signage required...sorry.
Friendly efficient staff, good breakfast
Noise fro car park outside bedroom Noisy residents next door -early hours in the morning of a working day.
Near to main street and concert hall.
Dangerous stairs to rooms, noisy overnight. First night residents falling about outside our room dropping fish and chip carryout at 4am. Later finding out that the glass front door was broken overnight and police were called. Second night we were moved to a room on the first floor which was better. Must say that although the reception and bar help were less than helpful the breakfast waitresses were great as was the breakfast!
Uncomfortable bed, no lift had to carry our own luggage to room on second floor
hotel was clean staff were brill price was too high we met up with 9 people and we all paid different prices ours was the highest we payed 120.00 more than anyone else
the fact that it is central clean friendly and helpfull staff . The breakfast was excellent .We also liked the comfortable lounge area
The mattress was on the hard side room was very dark and very hot.The price of drinks were extortionate for a public bar ,more than 70 pence more expensive than the pub over the road
Liked location in city centre, breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice.
Main problem was the so called car park at side of hotel.Always full whatever time of day.Think most of cars in it were staff cars.Should be able to give you a free pass charged to hotel when using council pay and display car parks nearby.
Foyer, reception, bar/bistro and the restaurant.
1. There was no lift. 2. The corridors and bedrooms were 1960/70 vintage, with tired decor, carpets and fittings.
The hotel is next to a main road and also road junction that lets large buses out of the nearby terminal. Noise, even with earplugs will keep you awake till late at night. The stairs are very steep and twisty with no elevator so I would suggest it woulde not be suitable for for some people. When checking out even though it was only for b/b I was not offered my bill to check which I found unusual. So sorry I can't recommend this hotel
I liked the lounge area at reception area, nice comfortable seated area, relaxing!
Slow wifi which at times was non existent, beds not the most comfortable, food was well over priced... I feel the prices of the food should have been half of what they were!
the bar area was nice and the breakfast was excellent with a good choice.
Room was to warm and was noisy in the morning from the traffic on the Main Street.
misleading parking description - secure parking is very important
Restaurant was excellent, public areas of hotel very good.
Rooms were very basic, stained carpet, small ensuite, cheap furniture but obviously this is reflected in the price, which was very reasonable.
The service and quality
Room comfortable, clean and quiet Lounge area at front of hotel, very nice and comfortable
Breakfast abysmal. Full scottish Breakfast. consisted of 1 egg, 1 slice bacon 1 sausage, i tiny pancake, half a mushroom and half a tomato..Also our room was on first floor down endless corridors and offered no help with our luggage.
clean, cheap, handy for the races, central, parking fine, breakfast good, room and facilities fine.
noise from road traffic throughout the night disrupting sleep
lot of road noise in bedroom
