the reception area of the hotel was very bright, clean and attractive. the room and bathroom were clean. breakfast in the morning was tasty and was served quickly and efficiently. breakfast staff were very nice. the reception staff were not very polite. the narrow uneven staircase to the rooms is a hazard. the corridors and room were far too warm to be comfortable. the room was very small and the bathroom miniscule, difficult to manouver round the door to get to the tiny shower. the window was dangerous as it didn't open properly. |

Hotel is well situated for shopping. Rooms are basic, ours was originally a double but we moved because the window was broken(nailed shut at top but open at bottom) and we ended up in a family room with a single, double and pull out bed. Room wouldnt be large enough for 4! although it did have a large bathroom. Found the room overpriced compared with similar hotels in the area, plus rooms were small |

The attention and service from the staff at all levels was excellent and helpful. The food was equally of a high standard in presentation, taste and service. The bistro meals were of a high standard and although we did not eat in the restaurant the atmosphere appeared very comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast was excellent. Our only issue was that our room on the first floor was too hot during our overnight stay and although the windows did open easily we were then bothered by the noise of passing traffic and night revellers. The noise from cars, buses and lorries as well as the pedestrian traffic went on until the early hours giving us little opportunity for a restful sleep. |

Breakfast was excellent, but that was it. Bedroom and en suite were very tired and in need of re-decoration. Facilities adequate at best. |

breakfast was very good i did not like the fact that we could not get something to eat either from the bar or room service at 2.45 pm we would have been happy with sandwiches however we were told the kitchen was closed we had to move somewhere else to get something to eat. |

Breakfast was nice I thought the rooms were absolutly horrible and not what is advertised on line I travel all over the country with my job and unfortunatly have to say this is remonise of a great deal of hotels which totally lets down our tourist industry there was no way the hotel was worth £80 per night the foyer may have been boutique, on line it says the bedrooms have been designed to create a stylish, elegant... |

The hotel was very nice and all the staff were lovely and helpful. The location was good as it was only a short walk from shops and a 5 minute drive to other attractions. The only fault I could find about the hotel was that it advertises a car park, however the car park only holds about 4 cars and was full the whole time we were at the hotel so had to use to pay and display across the road from the hotel. |

Staff very welcoming we had a problem on our first night with noise from the funtion hall below our room. After complaining we were offered another room but did not wish to move at 11pm at night. The manager was apologetic and we received a complimentary bottle of wine the following evening with dinner. |
