Dining Room too small, bathroom too small our room (18) was meant to be a 'quad room' presumably to take 4 people at a push the bathroom would have been small for a single room
Damp. Filth. Flies.
Five minutes walk from Victoria coach station and they even let us go into our room half an hour early. Friendly staff, a clean room and a decent breakfast included. We'd definitely use this hotel again.
The rooms need tea/coffee making facilities and the wifi was expensive and temperamental.
comfy bed helpfull staff location
not very no facilities in room
Location was great for my needs, but this was really the only plus
Curtains were ripped, walls were dirty and uneven, it was impossible up close the curtains properly to avoid light to come in. Breakfast was very poor and croissants were old
The location was fab, 3minute walk from Victoria station, Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, Our room was ready when we arrived at 12 Comfy room size and clean
The only thing I can say is our room was too hot in the night as the heating was on
The location was good close to tube, coach and trains. The man on reception was friendly enough.
No tea making facilities in rooms. Breakfast is only served from 8-9 and isn't very good. The rooms are small and are in need of a dust the place could do with a revamp.
Staff helpful and friendly. Beds comfortable and clean. Quiet location.
Would be good to have tea/coffee in room. Carpet in room and floor in en suite could be cleaned to edges and nets and curtains need a good wash but as a base just to sleep its fine.
Was a good stay clean room bedding towels
The bed was noisy and mattress was terrible just sunk in the middle was no tea or coffee available in room
I was booked into this hotel for 3 nights and didn't stay there at all. The room was small and had musty smell and curtains were almost black. i got the money back for 2 nights but was charged for the 1 night that I didn't stay. would not recommend this hotel at all. The owner at reception was not interested if we stayed or not!!
Staffed breakfast-so no queues.
No free WiFi No tea/coffee facilities Very small room
small rooms, only one hour for breakfast (only toast and cereals, coffee or tea. no aircondition, very hot in rooms (july), no free internet, noise from street lead to bad sleeping.
Good location for Victoria coach and train services
Staff spoke very little English which made things difficult. Also no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms.
Filthy curtains, carpet, blocked shower, hairdryer didn't work, tiny room, couldn't leave Windows open it was so noisy, man serving breakfast was the most sullen person i have ever met in the service of a hotel. One grotty towel each not even changed the first day. Shall i go on?.....
The beds were comfortable and we were so close to Victoria Station that we could get away easily.
Firstly, we were left waiting outside - and I don't mean at reception, I mean on the porch - for 15 minutes before we could even check in. We were ringing the doorbell and we even rang the hotel reception phone, which we could hear ringing and ringing with no poor soul to answer it. This was our first sign that perhaps we were being cheated out of £50 per night. When we were finally let into the hotel, a man who had been waiting with us jokily said 'I hope you're not expecting to get more customers like that!' to which the man at reception sneered at us 'we have more than enough customers, so we don't even really need you'. I was genuinely gobsmacked. You could have driven a freight train through the shocked gaping maw that was my mouth. After that interesting experience, the man took the payment of £198 up-front from my card. No deposit; just the entire cost of our weekend stay all at once. I was a bit afraid that if I quibbled with this I would be cut to pieces by the razor sharp tongue of the receptionist, so I just meekly accepted my fate, and we headed on to our room. Well. I say 'headed'. I really mean 'scrambled up sloping stairs with threadbare carpet, chased by dust bunnies and cobwebs', because damn. This hotel hadn't seen a hoover since the times of Edward J Hoover. It really was that bad. And to no-one's surprise, the room wasn't any better. It was more of a cell, really; there wasn't room to swing a cat, and if you tried, the cat would inevitably end up dirtier than it had been when it entered the room. There were black smears all over the walls. There was blood on my sister's sheets. There was hair in her pillow case. There was dust absolutely everywhere. The white curtains at the window were dark grey - a lovely charcoal colour, really.
Location ok room adequate was never in it due to sight seeing
Breakfast was basic continental would of enjoyed a good English from the New England to set u up for the day but staff very pleasant
Location - very close to Victoria rail and bus stations
Expensive for the level of accomm Old, rundown building TINY room No free wifi
White net curtains black with dirt, did not feel safe. Asked for from change given single room with no refund from dbl room, even though I did not feel safe. Carpets need replacing, needs painting through out and throughly cleaned. 3* but no tea or coffee facilities. Dreadful.
Location was good
The treatment of recepcionist was disaster, that indian guy was extremely rude.( Day shift ) i guess he was a relative of the owner, or he hate the owner, cause i saw extreme confidence at him.
Location, quiet street
No wifi, light breakfast (tea and toast)
It is well situated. Its ok for one night. It has lift. Toilet is clean.
Looks very old. The rooms have dirty walls. Lots of dust on carpet, lamps. Terribly hot and impossible to sleep. The hours of breakfast are not useful from 8 to 9. If you have early flight you don't have it. If you need to be somewhere on London early you have to leave without breakfast. Terrible soundproofing between rooms. Shower was terrible.
not much, but the price is good for the location.
Breakfast the bread used for toast was very poor, although they did have cereal on offer. No tea making facilities in room and non available from front desk, we arrived late after a long journey needed a cup of tea!!,
this is not breakfast the room is horrible no free wifi like published
Very close to Victoria Station
reception staff helpful breakfast staff helpful
breakfast too basic lift claustrophobic room small and unclean
