The pub and staff are lovely, beautiful setting and lovely bathroom.
The beds need replacing. The sofa bed my daughter stayed on was so uncomfortable I couldn't even lie on it to watch TV!
Super comfy bed, massive bath, friendly staff, log fires, decent food and wine.
Cosy bar, comfortable room ,good breakfast
Both rooms we had didnt have adequate hot water in the morning
A real English country pub.
The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. Good quality, well cooked, well presented and very good value for money. All above expectations. Big towels in the bathroom - thank you!! Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Stable accommodation is a bit small, OK for just a couple of nights but if I were staying longer I'd like a bigger room. But this is only a very minor criticism.
Excellent welcome, lovely bar with real fire, good room though a little small and noise below from party downstairs (room 3). Lovely dinner and breakfast, would stay here again. Excellent price for what you get.
Noise from bar and outside smoking area, would ask for another room next time but was a good stay and would recommend.
Friendly staff (& locals). Good ale, good wine and fine food. All at good value prices. Wye is also a very pretty village.
Mattress slightly "tired" but not the end of the world.
very comfy bed delicious meals well designed ensuite rooms
Staff were interested in our comments & seemed keen to adapt. Excellent dinner & breakfast. Large car park in contrast to the other hotel in the village.
Nothing worth commenting on as each room is different & in different locations.
The Comfort and Relaxation of this Hotel, along with it's friendly welcoming staff, was second to none. Food was excellent, as was the service. Cleanliness was superb throughout. I would have no hesitation whatsoever, in recommending this Wonderful Hotel.
Very welcoming Inn. Food excellent. Room small but met every need. A welcome change to have lovely big bath towels. Spotlessly clean. Would stay again.
Value for money. Good selection of draft beers.
The room was smaller than what it looked like on their website
Friendly, helpful, very well equipped room, spacious parking, well cooked dinner
Nearly everything - the staff were very efficient, pleasant and helpful; the room was extremely well equipped and comfortable and the evening meal and breakfast were excellent.
Maybe because we are " lightish" sleepers, but we were considerably disturbed by the switching on and off of (we assumed) the heating system.
Location ,staff & general setting
Good size room and bathroom
Comfortable quiet room in main building, good food in restaurant, attentive service, great value and pleasant stay.
Some room fittings a bit tired including bed. Otherwise nothing else.
My dad grew up in Wye and lived there throughout WWII. My oartner and I treated Mum and Dad to a nostalgic weekend and managed to gather together some old friends and relatives for a meal. The hotel management and staff were SO helpful and really made it a weekend to remember
Difficult to think of anything negative
Good location for a stop over from a continental journey Good food and drink with ambience Well designed accommodation in the converted stable building Nice old village worth a walk around with several other pub foodie places for an extended stay
We stayed in one of the stable rooms which was just across from the bar, so nice and quiet. Great that dog was welcome in the bar too and just a short drive from the Eurotunnel.
Room could have been a bit bigger and could hear every cough, sneeze and more from those staying in the next room
Beautiful surroundings for walking and centrally located for visiting villages and cities such as Cantebury. Friendly staff and tastful meals. Spacious parking.
The matrasses are thin
very impressed with the whole set up .run very good with good staff
Quiet for a pub. The English breakfast. Very pleasant manager. Friendly staff.
Long walk from the car park to the pub and then up a flight of stairs to negotiate a closed door and steps with a heavy suitcase.
20 minutes to Ashford Eurostar terminal even in the rush hour. V quiet location. Good meal in the bar on arrival at v reasonable price and great breakfast in the morning
