The atmosphere was friendly, the breakfast excellent and the room extremely clean. Being able to sit in the lounge and the kids could play on the Xbox was really great.

The hotel was spotless. The owners were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. We mentioned that stay was for a romantic break and we were upgraded to a lovely room with a 4 poster bed at no extra charge. Free parking nearby. We would definitely stay here again

Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast!!! Made so welcome, really liked the location in a quieter part of Blackpool within easy walk to tram stop or walk along beach to main town. Would definitely stay again if in Blackpool.

Ambience staff definately the food cleanliness

Warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Simon cooked a lovely evening bar meal and an excellent breakfast. Our room though small, was very comfortable with lovely linens and pillows. We had a most enjoyable visit

We travelled to the New Guilderoy for a last minute get away. The owners, Simon and Rhona are extremely helpful and approachable. They have really thought about what people want from their stay and everything you could need is provided either in your bedroom, or in the lounge and bar area downstairs. Even down to a bottle of water each! We particularly liked how clean the hotel was kept and that's coming from someone who is a little fussy! The food is homecooked and very tasty. At first we didn't expect anything more than average as the meals are very reasonably priced but I had the steak and ale pie and was very impressed with just how tasty it was. Definitely worth eating there during your stay. Also, the bar prices are reasonable too and the owners take the time to chat with you while you are having a drink and answer any questions you have regarding Blackpool. The location was perfect for us. Blackpool has the north shore area and south shore area. The hotel is based in the north shore and within walking distance of the shops and entertainment. If you do want to go to the south shore then it's only a few minutes walk to reach the tram. The owners told us to get an all day pass for the tram and buses which costs £3.50 for the full day which was ideal to have a good look around and see as much as we could. A lovely weekend, lovely owners of this place and definitely the best place we have stayed in Blackpool.

The couple Simon and Rhona were brilliant hosts. Felt very welcomed. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Value for money. Will definitely stay there again and highly recommended.

Not much really. The reason we have given less scores for facility n comfort is because the bathroom/toilet was really tiny and it was bit difficult to use the WC as the wash basin is just over it. But we would still say it was a good stay overall for the money we paid.

Everything I can not fault the hotel . Simon and Rhona are fantastic and go out their way to please all their customers . Breakfast is brilliant food is excellent ,bar is cheap and always a must for anyone who likes a chat Simon or Rhona are excellent hosts with lots of local knowledge to help anyone's questions. To be honest I could write a book how good this hotel is your treated like a person no better than that like a family member not like some hotels that just think your a number . 10/10 from me as always my second visit and no doubt not my last . Thank you Simon and Rhona for your hospitality .

Good heating in room which you are able to adjust yourself very comfortable room . excellent standard of cleanliness and customer service . breakfast was delicious and cooked and presented ti abhigh standard . simon and rhona are very friendly and like to talk to thier guests which is invaluable as I have stayed in hotels where the owners dont really chat to you . I would highly recommend a stay at the new guilderoy .,,,

Staff, food, price, comfort, decor.

Simon and Rhona were so lovely and welcoming . The hotel was spotlessly clean and there were playstations in the rooms for the kids plus a xbox kinnect downstairs in the reception room . Breakfasts were delicious with a wide variety. Will definately be back soon .

wonderful hosts, wonderful food. Spotlessly clean rooms. comfy beds. the breakfast is exceptional. best place we have stayed so far in blackpool. Simon and Rhona couldn,t do enough to ensure we had a great stay, recommending ways to save money by using tram passes and recommendinmg things to do. We felt really looked after and we didn't want to come home. Excellent place, we highly recommend it to other travellers.

Simon and Rhona are fantastic hosts, Hotel has beautiful decor. Food is great Rooms are lovely, especially room 20....You must stay in it!! Great friendly place to stay. Close access to tram and bus service.

We broke down on way from Airdrie, Simon was very happy to wait up until 02-30am till we arrived, he had 4 beers chilling for myself. Simon & Rhona are the perfect host's. The breakfast is more than enough to set you up for the day. Would most definetley go back.
