The New Guilderoy Hotel  

We have just returned from a weekend away. We picked the New Guilderoy Hotel because of its reputation and we certainly were not disappointed. The owners, Simon and Rhona were such a lovely couple who couldn't do enough for you. The hotel room had everything you could want, hairdryer, ironing board, iron and fridge to name a few things. It even had a play station to keep the kids amused. I have to say that breakfast was fantastic - so much to choose from and all freshly cooked to order by Simon. We really didn't need to stop to eat anything until tea time. The room we stayed in wasn't huge but it didn't need to be as we were only there to sleep and there is plenty of room in the lounge and bar area to relax. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to friends and family and we hope to go back early next year.

The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The Customer Service was exceptional and was made to feel very welcome. Simon and Rhona were very friendly and the service was nice and personal.

Highly recommended and will stay at this hotel next time we visit Blackpool - Anniversary suite was fab with a separate room for the girls, which they loved. Amazing breakfast!!

The owners were fantastic, and could not do enough for you, the food was of a very good standard. A good friendly atmosphere, would go back again.

We really enjoyed our stay, we went for our sons 10th Birthday and for football as our club where playing Blackpool, Rooms where spotless and very well equiped and very nicely decorated play station for the kids that went down very well,Nice quiet location Owners where lovely and made us feel very very welcome, Brilliant facilites in hotel food was lovely,approx 2 miles from pleassure beach trams and cabs easily accesable, Have already Booked again for Next year Fantastic hotel

Super Location on Blackpool's North Shore, a pleasant 30 minute stroll down to the Tower and the Golden Mile. Made to feel welcome with superb service and hospitality, a very comfortable en-suite room for 4 at less than £20 per head! Room facilities included fridge and PS2 - great for the kids. Quality breakfast - cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cooked meat and cheese selection followed by full english cooked to order - bacon, sausage, egg, tomato and fried bread, with extras on a self serve basis - hash browns, mushrooms, beans, scrambled eggs and sausage. No need for lunch!!! Great evening meal selection - curry, lasagne, fish and chips and a mixed grill which is just wow!! Brilliant bar area with complimentary newspapers and X Box Kinect. Simon and Rhona are great hosts, make you feel special and I recommend their hotel as true example of how an independent hotel should be run. They really made our half term break fantastic especially as the hotel was full and they were so busy.

A very family and friendly hotel everthing you could ask for breakfasts cooked to perfection and massive proportions and hot rhona and simon are perfect hosts and would reccomend this hotel 100% to anyone will be back to revisit next time in blaclpool good luck to both of you bob hall fay read-
