small room poor cleanliness room was next to laundry room very noisy, no privacy. asked to change reception staff said we are full
Cleanliness not so good Carpets need replacing Basic facilites
Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good.
Smell of drains in the bathroom. Also the water pressure wasnt very good. We had problems flusing the toilet and the shower wasnt very powerful.
The hotel was very clean and our room had a modern bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast is included and is buffet style with options of cereal, toast and cooked- this was a lovely surprise as for the price we paid we weren't expecting much. The reception is open 24/7, which gives plenty of flexibility for check-in and makes the place feel secure. The hotel is well placed for transport links- close to Forest Gate train station and various bus routes.
The hotel is located next to a main road so if you're a light sleeper you may want to take this into consideration.
A good budget hotel with all you can eat buffet breakfast. The bedding was changed each day. Kids liked going upstairs downstairs ,winding round corners as you go to your room.
Good size room, quiet and comfortable. Very good full English breakfast. Overall excellent value for money.
Carpets need replacing.
Was the pression of the water not excellant especially for the shower
Clean room, comfortable bed, good location
No mirror in the room!
Price-performance ratio really good. To recommend for people who look for an affordable accomodation in London. Good English breakfast with also toast, cereals, jam. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom was very good. Good traffic connections with railway and buses - but a bit outside of the city.
The rooms are not very quiet. You hear the people in the aisle and sometimes the neighbours. But usually the others are thoughtful. Planes go over the hotel, but when the windows are closed they do not disturb.
Staff were great had a leak in our room and was found suitable replacement
Price was good and included full English breakfast buffet. The beds were comfy so slept well. Buses right outside took us right down to center of city. Close to Stratford Stn. Shops and restaurants within a block.
Its an old hotel that could use a little updating especially the hallways. A chair or two in the room would be nice to have. There was nowhere to put suitcases other than on the floor.
Hotel was very clean and the cooked breakfast was very good. Room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Staff were pleasant and polite.
Some of the areas were a little tatty looking, but not dirty. The Hotel was located in an area which di not provide many restaurants except takeaways.
About the only good thing is it has a 24 hour reception.
Was stuck here for 4 days. The shared bathrooms are the most unclean/dirty/unhygienic ones I've come across in years (and I travel often). The rooms with their own bathrooms are ok. But on no account get a room with a shared bathroom. They're truly horrible, and never seem to be properly cleaned (in the 4 days I was there anyway). Side issue - one of their receptionists (not cleaning staff) went through the entire hotel in midafternoon on one day, knocking on everyone's door and then entering the rooms for people that didn't answer. Don't leave valuables in your room in this place. Really.
Breakfast is excellent
Bathroom not flowing well
Missed breakfast and no room phones ..
Free and good breakfast Staff
It was really hot in the rooms.
Staff at this Hotel were exceptional; very helpful and polite. The breakfast was substantial with staff always on hand to meet any requests. There is a good amount of parking on site with local transport links within five minute walk. I have to give a fair rating for cleanliness as the staff appear to work very hard in the breakfast area, public areas and provision of bedding and towels but the condition of the rooms and en-suites really let the side down.
Our initial opinion of the room on entering was one of dismay. There were several problems with tiles and fittings in the bathroom. In the main bedroom the wall paper was peeling away from the wall in places and the furniture either stained or missing handles. Knowing we would only be in the room to sleep (and checking the bed) we decided to make the best of things and stay put. However on our second night we were woken to the sound of heavy rain and didn't realise until the morning that the main double glazed window did not lock due to a missing handle. This meant that on our first day the room had not been secure; we were on the ground floor. It's such a shame that simple maintenance tasks are not remedied as I cannot recommend this hotel in its current state to friends or family or will be returning until improvements to the rooms are made. I feel the management/owners need bringing to task over the conditions of this Hotel.
Comfy bed, good breakfast, vry good staff.
Tired and dated room, cramped bathroom very very noisy road.
Staff and Location.
Really nothing just free parking
no heating no tv working staff was not good specially night staff no shower working
Bed was making wired noises, Wash room Flush wasn't working.
clean, tv and table to work at, single budget room with shared bathroom , bathroom was clean, happy to go back , cooked breakfast in morning too
not a bad point , only a desk light might be handy as these days ceiling lights not to bright. I would still go back to stay again
Nothing expert the location was closer to everything
The staff did not inform us at the point of check in: What time will be breakfast (it finishes at I was told at 9:30am ).They also did not show us where to go for breakfast (all five of us missied it)There was plenty of noise in the morning .The room had was pilling off (wallpaper) .The kettle was dirty (someone cooked noodles in it ) .The sink was dirty as there was bits of noodles .Not enough towels .
Breakfast included in price. Very clean bedding.
Road noise if the room is on the front of the building.
Location was good for our needs and the fact there was parking.
Rooms were dirty, peeling paint, items broken in rooms and even a live wire. One of my colleagues who I had booked this hotel for, said he felt dirty after sleeping in the bed and if possible tried his very best not to put bare feet on the carpet. My colleagues have stayed in numerous hotels in UK, Europe and other countries in the course of their jobs and said this was by far the worst. You get what you pay for but cleanliness/hygiene should be paramount.
