With free on-site parking and good-value accommodations, the Newham Hotel is just 550 yards from Forest Gate Train Station and only 1.5 miles from Stratford Station. The Newham Hotel has good access to the area's major roads and is a 5 minute walk from Forest Gate Station, which is 3 minutes by train to Stratford Station and 13 minutes from London Liverpool Street. Stratford Station offers good access to the London Docklands, London City Airport, the ExCeL London exhibition center and the O2 arena. The room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was cooked to a good standard, all included at a very reasonable price The staff at the front desk weren't very considerate when we were later than expected checking in after a long journey

Have stayed a few times and as always - happy with the service and rooms - Good breakfast , clean rooms , helpful staff No Complaints - some refurbishment and upgrading has taken place snce last vist to the room I was in - so was impressed. Thanks again to staff for nice stay....

Nothing great, really. Only the price was attractive and the fact that the hotel is situated within a short walking distance to a mainland train station and an overground train station so it's easy to get to Liverpool Street station or to the Victoria Line. - The shared bathroom wasn't cleaned at all. Shower covered of dirt. Loo didn't work so nobody could flush after using it. Properly disgusting when you arrive in the bathroom after someone else. - Very little room but ok. Too bad that there are any plug nearby the bed but only on the opposite wall of it, out of reach. Had to sleep upside down to reduce the distance to it in order to be able to keep my mobile phone near me while charging. - A bit noisy at night due to an engine working nearby the room (heater? washing machine?) - There should be a bit more than 1 teabag to make tea.

Cooked breakfast was surprisingly good and lots of free parking. Close to bus / rail network and easy access to London. Hotel apparently didn't receive the Booking.com confirmation so we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our room to be sorted out. The accommodation is basic but clean. We were in the "flats" next to the main hotel. Security was a bit of an issue as our son woke to find a drunk sleeping in the corridor outside his room. At the end of the day you get what you pay for...

The welcome when we arrived was frendly and very helpful. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast for us was extremely poor. We have answered no to recomending yourselves however if the breakfast quality was improved we would have no qualms about staying again or recommending you.

Room was basic, but clean. Location near to a bus stop with frequent services 24/7. Quiet, with ample car parking, although I did not have a car with me.My experience was very much better than the dreadful reviews published on-line! The bedroom window, on the ground floor, had a broken lock, which gave me a few worries about security, but all was well. The safe deposit box, mentioned in the booking.com website, did not exist, giving more concerns about security. However, all was well.

Nothing. There is a lady that works at the desk, the only polite and nice one. I don't know where to start: dirty dirty dirty... Funghi in the tub, water not running properly, carpets and curtains smelly and dirty, room not cleaned properly,... Hotel stuff, except the above mentioned - rude. The area extremely dangerous... My friend found a mouse in the room, she has pictures, too.

Price was relative, but I expectet more comfort and a clean room! The room was dirty, toilet seat dit not fit the toilet and the tap was about to fall off! When we came in to the breakfirst room 20mins before closeing there was almost no food left, and the staff did not want to cook some more...
