Conveniently located. Everything worked and was clean.
Having to give a time for breakfast on arrival and although in the warmer the scrambled eggs were overdone.
Breakfast and bed
You had to wear slippers when you get in the front door as carpet is cleam upstairs.
Room very good and clean
Breakfast, whilst there was plenty on choice the hot food was on covered hot plates and not that hot. The owner/worker did not speak very much English and was unable to order a taxi for a guest 4 double rooms but only four chairs around a large table, not sure what happens when there are more guests (not a problem for us through) Very little information in the room (local area, checkout time etc)
The bed was very comfortable
The staff hardly spoke to us. I am not sure the gentleman could speak much english. The breakfast was precooked in warming trays which were tepid. We were hoping for a freshly cooked breakfast to order. A little dissppointing.
Very clean, comfortable, good breakfast, decent area, helpful hosts.
The feeling of being in someone else's house.
A last minute booking because we couldn't get into anywhere in Lewes. Very clean. Good spread at breakfast. Very comfy huge bed.
The location is awful in a residential area and it's not a hotel; it's a guesthouse and quite overpriced. A huge spread at breakfast but cooked was not fresh cooked and rather cold. I settled for toast and jam.
on a housing estate. No safe parking. Had to take our shoes off and put there slippers on each time we went in and out.
location quite easy to find,¬ far from ferry terminal as was stated.good size room with a comfortable bed &enough storage space.
bathroom a bit small, shower water pressure poor takes a while to rinse your self off.
Excellent king size bed. Very clean and tidy. Assorted breakfast
we arrived a little late so difficult to find in the dark.
Cooked breakfast, especially the scrambled egg not cooked to order just kept warm hence not very special. However good selection of other food and drinks.
Clean comfortable room. Good WiFi. Only 8 mins to ferry Leaving the next morning
Grossly overpriced at £89 / night. Worth £50 max Basically a private terrace home on a suburban street - (must take your shoes off in entrance hall and put on hotel slippers to protect the cream carpets ) Agree with all other's -ve comments. Owners should take all comments as improvement opportunities. Finally could not get the shower to work so it was a quick basin wash and off to ferry
When we arrived, for a moment we thought we'd put the wrong postcode in the satnav, but no! It's a large modern house converted to B&B, run by an oriental couple. We were greeted and asked to take our shoes off and wear slippers (that didn't fit). Large room with huge bed which proved to be very comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful although unusual to share table with other guests. Immaculately clean.
The primary image used on booking.com is misleading - it is nowhere near what looks like a serene harbour, but is in fact a large, modern house in a sprawling housing estate, converted to a guest house. Only stud walls separate the guest rooms, so you can hear everything that goes on in the property. Shower was a bit weak. I think a little overpriced for what it is.
Clarn family home. Comfortable room, quiet residential area.
Had to remove shoes at the door. The vendor did not speak English . The ad shows a view of the harbour but you get a view if the neighbours house extension. The hot tub was not available . Not good value
Room Cleanliness Breakfast Acceesories Ownners Location
Place was very clean and well appointed.
The person who was primarily on site did not speak English! This made communication very difficult. The atmosphere was sterile, having to remove shoes at the door and place on a pair of ill fitting slippers before ascending stairs was both uncomfortable and a trip hazard. Not comfortable eating breakfast with someone who doesn't speak English hovering close by monitoring every move. The door to the lounge although marked as such was always closed not making for a welcoming environment.
Ideally located for the ferry port, comfortable, clean and peaceful.
Bed very comfy Clean facilities Parking Breakfast
The rooms were beautiful, high standard. Good breakfast.
Hotel is created in a residential house so hard to find, had to call them.
The room was clean and very airy
The owners were unwelcoming, the location was poor in the middle of a housing estate, the breakfast was terrible and it was not close to amenities, no water in the room even though it was a heatwave.
Clean, very friendly staff
No warm water in the wash basin(makes shaving an interesting experience...)
The Chinese Manuel (Fawlty Towers) style guy, who worked there! Clean and tidy room. Loved the warm apple juice!
Location - Basically a converted house. Cost too much money for what it is. Issues with staff understanding of English.
Very comfortable large bed, very clean and a breakfast that was varied and would suit all tastes. The environment was quiet and peaceful
Thought the picture was a bit misleading, believed it would have sea viewsof some sort, closer to the beach
Clean & tidy
Hot tub broken, throw on bed stained, awful view, expecting hotel by beach. & got a room in a house on housing estate with view of building site, absolutely awful.
Friendliness of the owners the accommodation was spotless and every detail for comfort had been thought of would highly recommend.
Breakfast wasnt 100% I found the coffee machine a little complicated but it didnt spoil our stay
The location The efficient staff Clean
We had difficulty with the shower but then each shower in all the hotels we have been different !!!
