The location is nice and quiet away from noisy roads so we all got a nice night's sleep. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional.
Awkward to find
After a day long drive home from France and a late ferry crossing we stayed at the premier inn at Newhaven. Was probably one of the best nights sleep of our entire holiday, enjoyable breakfast and ready for our return drive to Birmingham. Will be definitely staying again to ease the long driving hours
No breakfast included - you have to pay £8.75 extra.
Can't find much to fault at all with this place - I had a very nice, comfortable room with a bath and a lovely big bed. The staff - from the receptionists to the cleaners - were all really friendly. It's not the most exciting or interesting location but ideal if you're heading to the port (a few minutes' drive away) and within easy reach of Brighton. There is a Sainsbury's supermarket right next door.
Quiet. Comfortable. Conveniently located. Cheerful friendly staff in hotel. Exceptional dinner service in restaurant. Great breakfast.
All looking a bit tired and worn compared to other Premier Inns - No Hairdryer in Bedroom
The Staff were ALL incredibly friendly and helpful
The main problem with our stay was the bed. Springs coming through and so so hard! That mattress must have been 20 years old! I'm not even exaggerating as the day we left all of them was replaced for new mattresses.... Gutted! We stayed two nights and didn't get much sleep at all. The other main point of concern was there is now obvious path off of the premises. To get out we had to negotiate sainsburys car park entry and a petrol station also on the grounds. Very dangerous for a family with Young children.
Very friendly and helpful staff
The staff were view nice, plenty and helpful. Great base for getting around Brighton, etc.
room was very cold, yes it was -1 degs out side but heating came on for aprox 15 mins and went off for an hour, this was all the time, so room did not warm up!!!! no drinking water or milk in room, had to ask for toilet paper.......shocking 5 work mates all booked on the same day last month. one single room each. i paid £79 for one night with no breakfast. my mate paid £35 with breakfast???? rip off
room looked nice, good layout
Great for stopover if catching ferry. All rooms have bath.
Expensive for a budget hotel and food very poor
Hotel clean and comfortable
Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room for guests to store drinks like water, milk etc. Also car park flooded badly when there was heavy rain so drainage there needs to be sorted out so that guests don't get soggy feet when trying to get to their cars!
The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, there were adequate parking spaces.
The room temperature was slightly cool.
Most familiy rooms too smalll for 4 people. One bed was a mattress on the floor with no space at all between beds. We have stayed in several other Premier Inns with large family rooms so were very suprised. We were moved to a larger, one of only two, room which was much more spacious. Website should indicate room size.
Staff were superb when we had a problem with our room. Did everything possible to change the room and make the rest of ouf stay good.
Bed was a bit hard - not like the ones in other Premier Inns we've been to. Décor getting a bit tatty round the edges. Having to pay for wifi - come on, Premier Inn - sort out daily codes!
Friendly and helpful staff.
Would have liked biscuits with the tea in the morning
Location (close to ferry), helpful girl on reception, adjacent pub/restaurant with good choice of meals and snacks
No water pressure due to eco.. not high enough room 2
Nothing to report
Receptionist very welcoming and Helpful Booked Us A Table In Adjoining Pub And Whole Place Quiet At Night Which Helps
Only 1/2 HR free WiFi, which I couldn't get to work.
The bed & pillows b
only problem was that we were woken up a couple of times early morning by other guests coming and going, will stay again but will ask for a room at far end of corridor so we don't hear other people and doors opening and closing.
The room smelt of drains - there was a problem with sink drain not draining away - reported it to Hotel receptionist
Staff always very friendly and helpful and the room is clean
Closeness of upper floor stairs, very noisy. Room 1 refers.
Value, restaurant, good bed and nice room.
Breakfast a bit slow. Only one waitress on duty. No bedside table in our family room and an unused trickle bed in the way of putting one there.
Clean comfortable good food and very helpfull staff
Had to go next door to Brewers Fayre for food. No bar - again, would have to go to Bewers Fayre. No relaxation lounge unless you want to sit in a Reception.
Room was comfortable.
