The staff were warm, friendly and most accomodating. The location is great for those who do not want to be right in Stratford-upon-Avon, as it the inn is located about 2-3 km from the town. Great for famiies, as a wonderful park nearby. Food is plentiful and hot. Not to be missed is the railcar cafe about 5 min away from the inn. The food is nothing special, but the location and the pure fun of finding something off the beaten path make it well worth the visit.
People very friendly. Free parking place. Good food.
Wifi connection didn' t work in the room.
Was a clean and comfortable place to stay. Food excellent.Plenty of free car park spaces.Staff friendly.
Friendly staff Good buffet breakfast Value for money Tea and coffee in rooms Comfy bed
Thin walls meant you could hear other guests Old fashioned decor that collects dust Very small tv Our room was above kitchen/dining room so could hear clanging plates and other guests, which woke us up
Near Stratford and quiet location. Good shower in en suite and breakfast was good.
Our room ( which was above the pub) was a bit small and the bed was not the most comfortable. Quite noisy when people shut their doors.
The restaurant was excellent and all the staff lovely and friendly. The shower in my room and deep bath were also good.
Found the decor a little tired, and the bathroom needing a refresh. Breakfast was a little dull.
location - couple of miles from Stratford (our reason for being there). Breakfast - very good - served to us not buffet. Didn't eat evening meal but menu looked very good. Car parking (plus there is a field for campers/vans.
The nature of the building is such that I could not recommend it for anyone with disabilities. The stairs to the rooms are very steep. The room was small and the 4 poster big - well furnished but would have preferred a bit more room.
Very nice looking country inn, friendly staff, excellent food and well-kept ales, very clean and tidy. Good location for exploring Stratford and the surrounding area, just outside the town but on a main bus route. Has its own camp site with good facilities too.
Not a lot of soundproofing in the room we were in, other guests' conversations were quite audible. Nothing else to complain about, would use the New Inn again without question.
Lovely place, excellent shower. Prompt and efficient service. Reflected very well on what we paid, good value for money.
Only two miles from Stratford.
No wi-fi in room 10 , very small room. The hotel has a new section and the original section. The new area looks ok the older area should be avoided, the courtyard for the older area is also the back of the kitchen.
Good food Friendly staff Good beer
Liked the cleanliness of the Inn and the location, easy to find. Majority of the staff were knowledgeable of the area and friendly. A good hearty breakfast each morning.
The only disadvantage was the poor WiFi.
Good comfortable room, breakfast buffet was great!
Friendly staff. Food excellent. Set in a good location. The room was pleasant and the beds comfortable.
No air conditioning. Bathroom - the towels were far too small, the water didn't get hot enough and the soap basket in the shower was rusty.
The location - really close to Stratford Evening meal - food good
Unbelievably noisy - our rooms were over the dining room Slow service - three hours (yes, really) to get a two course meal with two very weary children Poor service - my elderly mother rang to give us a message which was never passed on Breakfast buffet - poor quality food
Food was excellent we had the lasagne for dinner and it was the best we had ever tasted
Bulldog bash was on that weekend and were some noisy revellers staying at the property that night . Apart from that we would stay again
access, food, cleanliness
Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast, staff very helpful and pleasant.
Wi-Fi signal strength poor in room and connection frequently lost.
Being a nice day, I walked into Stratford from the hotel. I found this more convenient than driving and paying to park in the town car parks, and safe too - I left my car unlocked by mistake and when I returned some 9 hours later everything was fine. The staff were also really accommodating to special requests.
Breakfast finishes by 9am, would prefer a little later. Stratford hotel prices are expensive! The New Inn reflects this, but is cheaper than most due to being a little out of town.
Staff and food were brilliant
No wifi that I could find
My friend and I stayed one night en route from Oxford to Lichfield, the bed was a welcome one and we had time to go into Stratford itself in the afternoon to see the sights which we enjoyed. The landlord was very helpful.
The evening meal wasn't the greatest but as I have special dietary requirements that was not the fault of the premises.
A clean hotel
Too far out from Stratford
Nice place with friendly staff
The toilets in the bar smell!
Evening meal was good value. Park and Ride bus convenient to Stratford.
Breakfast was closed on the dot of 9.00!!!0nly 1 Ladies toilet was working.
