Stayed only 1 night, clean and adequate. There was a side door for access without going through the main pub which was very busy whilst we were there. Four poster bed was brilliant!! I loved it, so romantic. Stairs to room were very steep. Room was exceptionally small. I pity people of a large stature as the gap between bed and dressing table was tiny. I could only just make it and I'm average size. My partner chose to climb over the foot of the bed to access the bathroom during the night. No way he could get out of bed otherwise without disturbing me. Please treat this as constructive critisism. It was lovely and clean and the food (breakfast) was fantastic. The staff were all friendly and polite and we would recommend New Inn to others.

Comfortable room with facilities expected these days. Helpful and obliging staff, particularly in the restaurant at breakfast time. Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked. Noisy neighbours. We think they returned at about 4am and talked quite loudly until about 6am. Not the fault of the hotel. We would prefer glasses or rigid plastic cups in the bathroom. The ones we had were so squashed that on straightening they split.

The New Inn Hotel is a well-kept historic building with beautiful plants and countryside surroundings in an impeccable village. A fun playground is a short walk down the road. The pub and restaurant below the room are very convenient. The room was extremely tight. The double bed was too small for both my husband and myself. We received only one key to 2 locked doors prior to our bedroom and, as such, had to remain together instead of one person being able to stay at the pub longer than the other. And the one-hour timeframe of the breakfast was too limited; and especially caused hardship when it became an hour earlier on the weekday.

Location - easy access to Stratford on Avon and Cotswolds. Room was quiet, no traffic noise, but suspect it could be noisy when pub was open. Bedroom was rather cramped, and access up steep stairs not easy with luggage. Breakfast was adequate, but no choice of bread for toast - thin white sliced!

The hotel was well located for my business which was farming related. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly. The food was excellent. The rooms were very clean but very small and there are very little other facilities near by. You are a few mile outside Stratford-on Avon.

Good location to visit Startford and the Cotswolds. Room had no carpet, no chair and no heating which made for a very uncomfortable stay especially as the beds slid around the floor. We were in the annex and the first night was very noisy as walls are paper thin. Sunday night was very quiet (lovely!) as we were the only guests staying!

The food was very good and at a fair price. The location was on the edge of the village and very convenient for Stratford on Avon with a hourly bus service directly opposite All in although the room could benefit from some upgrade it was fair value for money and would stay again On arrival the check in was quick and efficient but on being shown to our room the first thing that became noticeably was the dust and cup marks on the bedside cabinet. This obviously had not been cleaned recently. Also as this was a double room and booking for two we would have expexted to have two set of towels in the bathroom instead of one - this was recftified on the second night without prompting and obviously an oversight.

Very good service with an excellent menu and good breakfasts. Plenty of car parking and ideal for Stratford and the Theatre. Although the bedroom was small the bathroom was well laid out with a good shower and towels.. Overall a most pleasant stay.

We arrived mid afternoon and were shown to our ground floor room by the proprietor. Paymnet had already been taken by credit card so there were no formalities. We were out for the evening at the RSC theatre in Stratford Upon Avon, and returned to the New Inn at 11:00PM just in time for a nightcap. Breakfast the following morning was excelent, and checking out was easy as everything was pre-paid. We would definately use the New Inn again for a visit to Stratford. We had considered using hotels in Stratford itself, but some selfishly charge for car parking which put us off.
