Overlooking the RSC Theater, this 17th-century riverside hotel has parking and a bar. The center of town is a 5-minute walk away, and the train station is a 15-minute walk from the building.

Its a lovely place to stay. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Its in a lovely location, just all round an excellent stay.
Friendly staff, good location- cheap enough to get a taxi into town. Bed very, very comfortable!
Walls very thin- heard a lot of other guests banging and shouting during the night
1. Friedliness. 2. Cleanliness. 3.Value for money.
1. Bath towels were small. Minor point 2. Steaks were not served on black rock platter and so went very cold quickly on wooden dish. Large party there so we thought you had run out but we probably would not have chosen steaks if we knew. Maybe we should have been told when ordering.
Good English breakfast. Lovely warm room. Good facilities.
Just a little too far out of Stratford
Whole stay was excellent.
Lack of Wifi in room
Good breakfast. Comfortable room but a bit on the small side.
Room heating was off when we arrived on a cold December evening
It was ok
We were told 4 poster bed no Champaign no Sold us these extras but never got them Also no wifi connection Very disappointed
The food was excellent, the buffet breakfast, you could not have wanted more selection. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
We didn't have the room we was allocated to, as the keys could not be found. We were given another room which we were told was of the same standard, but there was not much room as it had a set of bunk beds in it, but it was nice and clean.
nice and clean, good breakfast.
2 mile out of centre bit of a trek needed bus or taxi.
friendly staff good food
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Our room was clean but dated.
Friendliness, good food and cleanliness.
Being disabled the step up to the bedroom was awkward, and I would suggest a small hand rail be fitted. I was not aware that the disabled room was outside. It could have been difficult in bad weather. Control expectations.
close proximity of hotel to park and ride. food excellent good choice quiet location staff very friendly and helpful
Rude and unfriendly staff who made us feel like we were being a burden. £68 for a run down, out of date twin room that had no curtains. £88 for an upgrade to what looked like a normal standard twin, but because it was modern (how it should be anyway) and had curtains, they charge you an extra £20! Emergency green light by the bedroom door is so bright it keeps you awake all night. Terribly uncomfortable beds and stained duvet covers. Hairs on the bed upon arrival and cobwebs on the walls. The floors are also so thin, we heard the room above us going to the loo (and not just the flushing noise!) throughout the night. Our dinner was revolting and the food is so overpriced it's eye watering. The layout is ridiculous and you have to go through a cramped pub to get to the hotel reception. No offer of help with our luggage or a friendly greeting on arrival after our long journey. The rooms in the old part of the building look like they all need ripping out and bringing up to modern day standard. Tiny, narrow staircase up to the old rooms and appalling facilities all in all. I've stayed in better hotels for less money. The dining room looks like a naff day room in a care home. Breakfast doesn't start until 8am on a week day, so I had to miss it due to an early start with work. Asked for a banana for breakfast and they didn't even have any! Last orders for dinner is 8pm, so we were rushed to order something when we first arrived. Food took 30 mins to turn up (for a jacket potatoe!) and then as we ate dinner, a man went around and turned off lights and then didn't apologise to us; he just laughed. He also locked up doors and swept the floor infront of us. Another staff member then fed the goldfish infront of us and was even pouring big buckets of water into the tank! It was so uncomfortable sat there trying to eat our food and relax after a long journey, we were treated like we were in the way. Such incredibly rude, unprofessional staff!
Food and bus transport.
There is a bunk bed and a double bed. The bunk bed takes up a lot of room making the room feel small. TV very small and badly positioned for viewing when in bed.
The room and bathroom were clean. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room which is very nice. The breakfast had a nice variety, and the staff were very helpful.
We found it difficult to find the place.
Good location , 2 miles from Stratford. comfortable clean rooms. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely ,had the steak pie. The breakfast was very good . The guy who checked us in and served breakfast was very helpful and friendly .
staff were helpful breakfast was good
our room was small and over the pub toilets
Loved the location very quiet. Breakfast excellent .
Would have preferred double bed instead of 2 singles . The bunk beds in the room were very creaky .
The New Inn is a lovely place within a short drive of Stratford. The room was small but great for our 1 night stay. Staff were very friendly & accommodating. Breakfast was great, plenty to eat & drink.
I don't eat meat so was disappointed that there was only 1 vegetarian dish on the menu. Fortunately I do occasionally eat fish so had a little more choice
staff was friendly place is nice but difficult to access without a car quite good breakfast
I was visiting my sister who has moved in to the village so for me, a great location. The rooms were very clean and the shower was wonderful. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was delicious too! We will definitely be back!
