Good value for money, location, staff, Noise levels, creaky floor boards, thin walls banging fire door, fire alarm going off at 9.30 am after having finally fallen asleep after night of being kept awake by other guests

The location was excellent. I didn't like the drunken revellers returning at all hours. I had to contact reception at 0245 to quotes a group down. A few hours later another guest complained about more noise. The same revellers were swearing at breakfast. Most unpleasant. The mattress I had was worn and uncomfortable.

The hotel is based on the traditional Bed and Breakfast pattern. The rooms are adequately catered with all of the necessary items. The breakfast was excellent as were the staff who served it. The rooms as explained are functional and more than fit for purpose. There is nothing to not like.

We stayed in this hotel with our young grand daughter and had a comfortable stay. Our room was large and clean and beds were comfortable. The staff were really friendly especially the waitress who served us for evening meal and breakfast which I must say were both delicious (a delightful employee). Hotel was handy for the metro and for £5 for a super saver it was good value for money. I would definitely stay here again. Not many parking spaces, lucky there was one left when we arrived. The squeaky floor boards from above.

Very friendly, helpful staff in all areas, clean well appointed rooms, great value, good location for restaurants in a good residential area but close enough to the Metro for easy access to Newcastle for shopping or business.

The staff were fantastic. The room lighting was pretty dim and there were only two available plug sockets, for two people we really could have done with 4 if not more as ladies on the town I'm sure you can imagine how much electrical equipment we had on the go at once!

Very good location due to my daughter being nearby No proper shampoo or conditioner. I do not expect to bring this when staying in a hotel. For £60 per night I would expect some breakfast particularly as it was a sunday and monday night therefore not a weekend.

Our car got broken in in the car park and the staff were very helpful in liaising with the Police. They also waived the room service charge due to this experience which was not their fault. Therefore their customer service was excellent. The water didn't drain away very well in the bath

The hotel is quite small which we like and the first floor front facing rooms are lovely. Only problem was that the twoe couples with us woke up to no water in the room one morning and had to make use of another room which only had hot water. Although this was no one's fault it was very inconvenient and put a slight dampener on the stay Apart from the problem with the water, tthe guests in the room next to us came in during the early hours obviously drunk and put the TV on and then fell asleep. Unfortunately they were not asked to lower it untill 07.00 . In a small hotel this is unacceptable and guests need to be made aware of the need for quiet late at night and consideration of others.

The hotel was in a good location, the rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The night i stayed they had an 18th birthday party in the hotel and the party goers were very noisy into the early hours of the morning. Not the staffs fault and they did apologise the next morning.

We stayed for 5 nights the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable the bed was to die for I would like to have taken it home. The food was wonderful, well cooked and presented and hot. We would kike to say a special thank you to Justine for the help when I was taken ill on the Sunday night by calling the doctor and making sure I was ok. We will definitely stay there again, we have stayed in several different hotels in Newcastle and this was far the best. All of it
