Most friendly and welcoming staff, classy entrance and seating area, clean and lovely rooms, great breakfast included. very pleased with everything. Will book again in a heartbeat.
Great location, clean, comfortable, good breakfast. Room was very hot had to keep window open which was fine just felt bad wasting their heating
I needed a simple, inexpensive hotel that was pretty central. The New Linden did the job. Located in Queensway with easy access to Bayswater and Queensway tubes and bus routes you can be in Oxford St in 15 mins.
Queensway is hotel land and if you are expecting top end London luxury then forget it. It's more travel lodge plus than Marriott minus. But then - it's very good value!
Location Lots of restaurants Easy to walk to places: underground, London centre, bus and hyde park
Small double bed Pillows
place, good staff and nice breakfast
A bit cold, cleaning people so noisy, rooms, so noisy
Location & friendly staff
Smallest bedroom I've ever stayed in.
Hotel is located in a central location. It is only 5 mins walk to Bayswater tube station. Personal is helpful. Breakfast is fair enough.
The rooms are very small as most of the hotels in London. Walls are so thin that you can see voices coming from other rooms which may be disturbing early in the morning. Since the floors are old and wooden, you can hear the creaks coming from upstairs in every step.
The location, it was close to tube and bus stations to get into central London. The guy on reception during the day (don't know his name) was very helpful at giving directions and what buses to take etc.
When we arrived our room was very small, I think it was really a single room but they had a double bed in it. We asked the lady at reception if they had any other rooms and she moved us to an executive double room the next day at no extra cost which was much bigger.
Room, helpful staff
Lack of Car parking
A well located small hotel with very attentive and helpful staff. Well maintained and updated.
A very small bedroom with barely space to move but it works well enough.
The friendly staff - they really went out of their way to assist guests!
The rooms were clean, it feels like the hotel has been recently decorated. The hotel staff seem friendly.
The hotel is in Bayswater which is a little too far to walk into the center of London, however, you can catch the tube which is about 200m from the hotel.
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The room was the smallest, 4 star hotel room in which I have ever stayed, no room for a bedside table and the tiny bathroom (very fresh and clean) was too small to have anywhere to hang a towel. My room was in the basement so day light was a problem, it was also beside the breakfast room so quite noisy once breakfast started. The WiFi was almost non existent in my room, none at all in the evening and a very weak signal in the morning.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and room even though in the basement. Room might be small for 2 people. Good breakfast although strictly continental. Excellent location. 5 minutes walk to nearest tube station. 3 minutes walk to restaurants and shops. 1 minute walk to local pub.
Position in relation to where I was attending a meeting. Rapid response to sort problems
No bar so basically an up market hostel with beds and limited breakfast facilities. Maybe I'm out of touch but seemed to be trying very hard but not quite making it.
Lovely hotel great location. Staff very helpful.
Bedroom and en suite very small. No space for anything.
Our room, #9, in the basement, quiet, able to open the window for fresh air, giant shower, big bed and access to the roof terrace.
There wasn't anything that upset or disappointed us at all.
The staff were very courteous , the room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was wholesome and generous.
The closet for hanging clothes was not tall enough to hang a full length coat.
This hotel was just perfect for our 1 night stay. It was very clean. The rooms were a bit small but they were well laid out and fresh.
A very nice hotel, very clean, nicely renovated, a very decent breakfast and very very kind staff! I would certainly go back but ask for specific things...
Well they gave me a room at the basement and this was sort of ok but in the room they had plugged one of those "perfumes" with no obvious reason that triggers my asthma and I had to "sleep" with both windows open, even after they had removed it. The other very bad news was the bed. They had promised me a double bed and it seems so but it was really two single beds put together and once I moved in my bed they split up and I finally slept 4 hours max... This was very bad for my job the next day
Atmosphere, welcoming reception staff Decor was interesting and the room was very quiet. Also lovely simple freshly made continental breakfast
My room was in the basement
The friendly, helpful, welcoming staff set the scene for a great weekend. Having comfortable, convenient accommodation to come back to on the Friday night was the icing on the cake. Thank you all.
Everything was excellent, the toiletries were of good quality. However, a shower cap in the bathroom would have been welcome. The power sockets in room 309 were a little difficult to access.
Location is excellent, beds are very comfortable and rooms really clean
Room was very small with limited storage. Bathroom no towel rail at all. Breakfast area cramped- had to queue for a table twice. Fire exit partially obstructed with towels entire stay.
