The room was a bit tiny but at the same time just right. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, room was clean well kept and comfy the breakfast was good with variety..and the hotel was just mins away from tube station and a bunch of different cafés to have lunch etc..
No iron in room you have to call from desk to have one brought to room but at least u have access so u don't go out looking like you just came out the bottom of a barrel
Noisy people in the next room at 1.00am
The Hotel was in a great location, with a good choice of pubs/restaurants close by. Also very easy to travel to other parts of the city by Bus or Tube. Walking to Oxford Street is around 50mins and a nice walk alongside Hyde Park. The Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was also very comfortable. Definitely value for money.
The room was quite small but typical of what would find in a major city for the price. You could also hear your neighbors in the rooms either side which is not so nice but not such a huge problem. Earplugs could be recommended for light sleepers.
Breakfast was good quality, room clean and well presented.
Poor selection of teas and coffees.
location staff breakfast
being located right next to the elevator making for disturbed sleep well into the early hours of the morning. not soundproof and could hear noises all night from other rooms. Really annoying. No privacy bathroom window may me feel exposed when showing at night with light on as not blind to shield myself from those in other buildings who could clearly see in.
Quiet room. Nice bathroom with big towels. Good ventilation.
Breakfast. Didn't expect to have to make toast, and tea was in an urn rather than served fresh. I would stay again but get breakfast elsewhere (which is what we did on day 2).
- good big bed - comfortable & clean bath - good breakfast buffet with a lot of fruit - European socket in the room
- one of the smallest rooms we've ever seen. literally no space to open even a small cabin-size suitcase - very small luggage room, and you get to manage it yourself, so a) it's not very safe, b) you may find your backpack with books (ie stuff easy to crash) buried somewhere under a pile of other people's heavy suitcases.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The twin room at the rear was clean, quiet and well furnished. The breakfast was fine, choices good. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the tube and I would be more than happy to recommend the hotel to friends.
Large towels and that's it!
The room was sold as a Junior Suite - it certainly was NOT! A long room with a bed cramped in by the window. The TV was positioned very high/ceiling and thus lying in bed to see the TV gave you a cricked neck. No fridge in the so called suite and cheap UHT milk. No carpets; wooden floors (cold) and tiled bathroom. The shower head could do with a good descale. The door to the suite (!) only had a turn lock inside and no chain lock. Felt very insecure as a female a loan traveler and on the ground floor. Absolutely awful and not worth the money at all. Didn't even attempt the breakfast as I wanted to get out as quick as I could to do the 10 minute+ walk to the tube.
The young desk clerk working days(blonde hair) was really pleasant to deal with, and very helpful with bus routes and information.
The room was small could hardly walk around.
Location near hyde park/oxford str. and also Olympia and Westfield, clean hotel
Poor breakfast - only meatloaf instead of ham etc. Also taxi ordered from reception cost 29£ for 4 miles but back with ordinary taxi it cost only 10£. These small issues are the only negatives to this more less positive reference
Friendly staff, great location, and a wonderful evening. Close to many pubs and great restaurants.
A friendly comfortable hotel close enough to the centre to explore London with ease
My only gripe was the coffee at breakfast was not great... Not exactly a major issue!
The room was nothing like the picture, very old-fashion, very noisy (I could hear people in the other rooms)
Very good service from staff. Lovely breakfasts. The fruit salad was yum!! Close to Nottinghill Gate tube station. Very clean and tidy rooms.
I found the bed to be very hard but my husband didn't have a problem with it.
good location and for the price, a reasonable hotel, better with its makeover
the particular room i was assigned was on the ground floor, window opening to the smoking area, so security concerns
Location in Notting Hill was great for bus or tube. Restaurant choices were excellent. Two real local pubs on street corners. Breakfast spread amazing. Staff extremely helpful for single older lady traveling alone.
Many restaurants around he area, within a reach of central london, need to find Parking space, I guess it is same for all London hotels , overall a good stay and experiences.
Room could be bigger, floor is quite old which makes sound while walking .
Loved our balcony! Just fantastic. Very cosy and nice small room. Clean and quiet. Personal was very helpful, liked a lot.
The location was good and the cleanliness was very nice.
The rooms were very small and there wasn't a bath so couldnt take a much needed relaxing bath after a long day out.
Front of house staff excellent Bathroom excellent
No bar fridge
Location quite close to Queensway and Bayswater tube stations, yet quiet. Good breakfast.
Staff, room, location all good
Street a bit noisy until early morning.
Simple book in. Clean room.
We could hear our neighbour using the bathroom. Oh boy!
