Very friendly personal, as well in the reception as well in the breakfast arera. Centrally located, within walking distance to the tube. Although recommended and nice interior: Avoid room number 14 and 15: too near to the elevator and the reception, one can follow each word guests and receptionist are changing during the night. The window opens to the backyard, if you are lucky to have good weather hotel guests watch you from the lounge in the backyard. Smokers may stand under your window in the basement letting the bad smell in your room. The bathroom was really very small. The rainshower was more a "pocket of drizzling". Breakfast as announced is continental: cut meat looks as coming from a pupil chemistrybox, but fruitsalad was fresh everyday and buffett never was empty!

The room was clean, comfortable and had enough space for the four of us. It was a good surprise! The breakfast was very poor. We expected at least the typical english breakfast.

Our rooms were different, the double was small but with a beautiful balcony, the triple room was more comfortable as it was bigger. Very close to Notting Hill underground station, in a peaceful and quiet zone. The staff was very kind.

We liked the decor of the rooms Did not like where our room was as it was on the ground floor right next to reception and lift between the two of these we were kept awake all night. Also we were a few mins before 10am when breakfast finishes when the male waiter took away the meat dishes right in front of my face smerking!!!!!!!!!!! He was told straight away from someone above him to put them back, just thought this was so rude.

Location was good, nice and quiet. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel itself was clean, check-in and check-out were quick, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was like any other continental - fruits, cereals, croissants, toasts, jam, ham, cheese, coffee and tea - as mush as you want. My single room was really huge for London, twin room is much smaller - still good for a week stay though! I would recommend to stay in this hotel.

Hotel was excellent for people on a city trip that won't be in their room often, but when they do, there will be a nice room with very comfortable bed waiting for them. The staff were very helpfull and friendly and the breakfast was top of what you are allowed to expect in this priceclass.

Very clean and newly renovated hotel within walking distance to many sights, with friendly and helpful staff, especially those who were working there during our stay--Christmas weekend! It's hard to be positive if you're working Christmas morning, and they were! Breakfast was a bit weak. Having stayed at a similar, but more run down hotel with an excellent made to order, hot breakfast, I would have expected more than the stale toasts and mystery meats.

Friendly staff. Good location at 10 minutes walk from Queensway tube station. Quiet, while room facing street. Happy with the fairly good breakfast (continental only), contrary to a few negative comments seen here. We had room 205. Room was way to small for two people. No nightstands (room too small), therefore no bedlights (awful halogene light coming from ceiling), bed against the wall (one person need to jump over the other when stepping out of bed). No coat-hanger, no space to put a chair to sit at small desk, wifi is free but signal is weak (25%) and connection is very slow (no voip) and regularly freezes altogether. Worst of all, shower in bathroom has a) no doors/no curtains and b) no hose (wall mounted). Result is that within 1/2 minute the whole bathroom is totally soaked and you have to brush teeth, apply make-up and use toilets with wet feet. When asked, receptionist's reply was that "architect came up with this 'new design' when redoing the bathrooms (sic)" .
