Staff were chatty and offered a good selection of cooked breakfast. The beds were uncomfortable and some of the bathroom fittings needed maintenance. The hotel area smelt strongly of the pub food downstairs, but this was expected.

Room was very modern and well presented. Cleaned to a high standard. Location is very poor. The room we stayed it was very noisy could hear the A road cars. Windows of the room were pretty inadequate at helping deal with the noise (not properly double glazed)

The Manager called me at 8.00pm to see if I was still coming and to advise me that the Kitchen was closing and to organise a meal elsewhere. In 40 years of traveling that is the first time any hotel has done that. 110% service.

Food was reasonably priced and of good quality. Good central access to local towns and beach. Plenty of parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Late night drinking going until 04.30 being hosted by the manager with other guests coming and going from the rooms with doors banging, and being very vocal. Not being able to take breakfast as had to leave by 07.30 when breakfast should have been served from 07.00. No sign of staff even though I knocked on all doors and called reception phone number with no answer. Called later that day and spoke to the manager and informed him that I was not pleased with the fact it was very noisy and did not get much sleep and that I was unable to take breakfast, and blatantly lied to me that he was only 10 min late serving breakfast. And no sign of an apology what so ever. Cleanliness of the rooms generally very good but more attention needs to be taken to the mould around the Windows and frames.

The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The Landlord has a sense of humour which I appreciated. The breakfast was excellent one of the best I have had. The bacon and sausage were better quality than I have had even in hotels. Definately recomend.
