I booked a twin room and when I arrived, they said the booking had not been made and we had to have 2 single rooms and actually got charged slightly more for it when it was no fault of ours. Also the check out time was 11 o'clock which was too early as I thought it was 12

Our bedroom was a good size, comfortable and well decorated. The hotel is conveniently situated and has a welcoming atmosphere.

The quality of the vegitarian cooked breakfast was inconsistant, on our last day it was really very poor. Having the television on in the dining room during breakfast was very annoying.

Staff friendliness, clean comfortable room, considerate chambermaid who left towels outside room when do not disturb sign was placed, the night porter who is always patient despite the behaviour he has to cope with,and the considerate nature of the reception staff when we overstayed our visit by not realoising check out was an hour earlier on Sundays.

The clubs near and inner the hotel

The bathroom was big, but it had'nt a shower and design-style was "out of date"

Being slightly out of the centre of town but still close enough to get back and forth easily.

We found the room, at the front, noisy from the bar at Osbournes. The rooms would benifit from double or secondary glazing.

Location and convenience. Handy parking.Restaurant and bar facilities v good. Clean and welcoming room. Professional staff.

The room was far too hot and stuffy, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Staff were professional and helpful, but lacked that extra spark of warmth and willingness that usually makes visits to Newcastle so special.
