Only complaint would be the appalling lighting in the room, otherwise very pleasant and Scalinis restaurant excellent next door. |

The rooms are a good size, nicely decorated, pleasant. The breakfast wasn't up to much, there was a crack in the sink, the shower leaked and the lights didn't work, but everythinkg else was fine. |

The hotel and rooms were warm and cosy The Reception staff could have been friendlier. Our table lamp did not work when we arrived and it still didn't work when we left! Despite telling reception about it on the first morning. |

extremely helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, hot breakfast cooked on order Our first room - TV did not work. No problem at all moving to another as the hotel wasn't full. 2nd room - heating didn't work, but the staff quickly brought portable radiators. Could have been a less enjoyable stay but for the staff |

very comfortable rooms, good bathroom. excellent breakfast. Nice restaurant.Good location for bars and shops. When we came back to the room after breakfast our door was wide open and the cleaners were in. It was not as though we were late as it was only just after9am. We felt this was not on and after five minutes the cleaners offered to leave. We had clothes and personal effects around the room which we were sorting out after breakfast. |

Comfortable room, excellent service, great location, fantastic adjoining Italian restaurant and a lively bar Would not recommend for familys as quite noisy during early hours, but we were aware of this when we booked. |

As soon as we walked into the reception we knew this Hotel was going to be lovely - I was worried after reading some bad reports but in my opinion this hotel was great and really good value for money - our room was massive and the bathroom was quite big too - the decor was funky and the hotel was all very clean. Breakfast in Scalinis was good too - a good variety!! Will deffo be staying here again!! |

The room was clean even though the fixtures and fittings were dated. It was just outside the city and there were lots of good eating places in the vicinity. We were at the back of the hotel and the air conditioning/extractor unit was below our window. It was a little intrusive/ smelly. The room furnishings were a little dated. The staff at breakfast were a bit miserable. |

Hotel has a friendly ambiance. Breakfast is good. Wifi in the rooms is only available at a surcharge, and even then it didn't work. Few restaurants in the area. |

Breakfast was poor. The english breakfast came with no choice of eggs and a thing that was supposed to be a sausage - but this was questionable |

Great location, nice disctrict, quite young and seem to be the area where mosts students start their night out. Nice breakfast Very noisy. We were on the 1st floor, on street view. No double-glazing. So you better bring your ear plugs really as the hotel is located on a main street, so lots of cars and is surrounded of bars etc.. |

Welcoming and warm with a nice atmosphere on a wet Saturday afternoon in November. Food was acceptable and there was plenty of it. In the 21st century there should never be bathrooms which do not offer shower facilities - thought this was the poorest aspect and would put me off going again. |

Location was excellent, lots of bars and restaurants close by. Rooms very comfortable and cooked breakfast outstanding. Decor looking a little tired in places. Though our rooms were very nice. |
