Friendly staff. Our room was unusually large and was tastefully decorated. Both the restaurant and bedrooms provide a beautiful view over the lower part of the golf course to the bay beyond, with Newport visible to the left and open sea to the right. The coastal cliff path is readily accessible. Newport is a few minutes drive from the hotel and, although it is small, has a good selection of restaurants and pubs.
The rooms are really spacious and comfortable and the view of the bay is just lovely. Early morning walks along the beach are the perfect start to the day.
The bathroom had not been cleaned properly and breakfast was very slow.
We stayed with two American friends on the night of 23 September . The room was spacious with comfortable bed and a view to die for. We had dinner that night and the young waitress from Fishguard handled the various dietary requirements in a most professional manner . Congratulations to her . The chef came out and explained some aspects of the meal and the receptionist that night was very helpful . A well run establishment .
Nothing to dislike .
Stayed overnight before catching the ferry to Rosslare, wonderful location and views. Spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, very comfortable beds, good food, friendly efficient staff.couldnt fault it, wanted to stay longer!
Avery pleasant short stay and I have already booked a return visit
Dinner could not be provided later than 7.30
The bedrooms were spacious, clean and have a great view over the bay. The restaurant in the Golf Club served good food.Overall it was excellent.
If you have mobility problems, there are steps up to some of the rooms which may be an issue, so you would need to check on this.
I loved the location of the hotel. The rooms are good sized very clean and neat. The view was amazing from the room. We had dinner in the hotel which was delicious. The whole stay was very relaxing. Staff is very friendly! I already recommended this hotel to my friends!
Great Views. Room was spacious and bright. Food was Great.
It was a lovely, clean, spacious room - with gorgeous views of the ocean and sunset. Just above (very short walk) from a lovely local beach and views of the harbor and boats from the town of Newport. Good breakfast too.
Nothing! It was really great.
Location and sea view, Restaurant, good breakfast
quite impersonal, not suitable for longer stays
The views over the bay are wonderful on a clear evening. One of the highlights of our trip.
Wifi didn't work.
What a break we only spent two nights Breakfast was really good evening meals really great will be back very soon
The views and access to the beach, the peaceful location, excellent food in the clubhouse, design of the rooms all front-facing and easy access to the bar and restaurant
Excellent room, breathtaking views and good facilities including a good evening meal and breakfast.
The location,wonderful views.
Incredible view and access to beach Good food Nice staff
Bedroom/bathroom not very clean when we arrived Very old/uncomfortable mattresses
The location The friendliness of all staff. Made our stay comfortable and excellent. Even arraned a surprize from our son in Newzealand for our Golden Anniversary.
The location was superb. Maybe the wonderful sunny weekend influenced our opinion, but we enjoyed the golf (was pleasantly surprised with new 9holes - tho'the greens need a little more TLC)
We can't think of anything.
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking to explore Pembrokeshire. The location is beautiful and staff were friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable and decorated to a very high standard. I only regret not being able to stay for more than one night.
Bathroom not clean on arrival and not properly cleaned during stay. Wet towel left on floor did not come from us and was not picked up by cleaning staff. One of the breakfast waitresses had a very abrupt manner. No wifi in rooms.
The setting of the hotel and the views from the rooms and the public area are amazing. There's loads of parking right by the accommodation and this is a really good place to relax for a few days. We were here for three nights. All staff were welcoming, pleasant, and capable. The colour and texture of the bed linen took me back to my army days but were OK and the duvet, pillows and bed itself were comfortable. The tea and coffee station in the room was excellent. Being on crutches was no problem as access is great wth literally everything 'on the flat'.
All our experiences at the hotel were good.
The room was superb. Large spacious with stunning views
My only things was I thought the bathroom could have been cleaned better. Dirty around the edges . Their as also toothpaste in sink .
Staff really lovely and very friendly.
No Wifi but that was quite nice in a way - should have been fixed by now.
Location, Views, food good value for money, golf
