we loved absolutely everything about the hotel. the staff were so pleasant and friendly, the food was fresh and well presented.the room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable and we had a sea view, woop woop.we would recommend this hotel very highly
we really found no fault with this hotel.
Upgraded to a sea view room FOC!
Night time entertainment was essential with young children. Enjoyed by all the family. I think quiz, bingo, stage show and a bit singing from the very we'll mannered compere. Keep it up
the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was small but clean.breakfast was also value for money
the lift too small for size of hotel also the outside does not do justice to the inside
All of it
Second sitting if breakfast .wasnt always enough found to go round all residents.so some things you had to go without
I booked 3 rooms as we were travelling as 2 couples and a teenager and i asked for the rooms to be next to each other. We were allocated a side corridor with 3 rooms together. The bar and restaurant makes the hotel look more of a 4 star than a 2 star. All staff were friendly & helpful. Great location with tram stop right outside. We have stayed in a few of the large hotels in blackpool and the new president was by far the best
Friendly staff and nice rooms with wet rooms
Only onw small lift
Great location,quiet rooms.
Restaurant staff hovering round the tables waiting to take plates away as soon as you had your last mouthful. Didnt feel like a relaxing leisurely breakfast.
The staff. Good breakfast. Good entertainment
Could do with a comfortable lounge area with settees and armchairs. Only a small area of these. Dinner overrated
The receptionist on arrival and leaving was wonderful. Extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Friendly gentleman on Saturday afternoon too. Loved the entertainment of an evening. Tickety Boo were on the Saturday and I'm really sorry but I don't remember the young lady and gentleman who were there Sunday, but she had a lovely singing voice, even joined at 1 point by her friend, who helped boost the evening. Sea view, just smashing.
1 of the waitresses on the Sunday morning was a bit abrupt, made me feel like I should have gone all inclusive not just B&B. Lift played up at times, quicker use the stairs.
Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff on reception were very welcoming and even the night porter cracked a joke when i returned in the early hours. Dining room staff could use a little customer service training. Overall for around £33 a night i got exactly what i wanted and needed.
Lack of Wi-Fi
The hotel was fab and had a good couple of nights stay, as i was a lone female traveling with a 15 year old daughter i was very comfortable with the environment and the staff.
The wifi was great but could only use it in the main reception floor and having a teenage daughter i didnt want her wandering the hotel to use the internet, but the wifi was well covered and useful.
the pleasent welkom from reception staff, my room was ready and very comfable, i did want to upgrade but sadle hotel was full will try again in the futare.
mad rush in the resturant coach party quing up 20 minuits befor opening, seating was no to my liking everything was a rush food very good staff very good outerwise overal good
staff very rude attittudes were terrible when you complain about anything it goes in one ear out the other .all they interested in is your money,£5 extra for bath mat that you have to hire joke should be one there already.was a 4* states on the wall now 2* this year says it all really.
Buffet style breakfast was a plus
Staff very helpful and friendly, food excellent, rooms very large and comfortable, good entertainment , good facilities in rooms
Lift a little small
Food was good .big bath .warm rooms .nice view .good seating areas .entertainment ok
Waitress s were rude dining room too small for amount of guests room furniture was dated in room, mattress was lumpy
We didn't like anything. The room was tiny, the bathroom was very cold. The entertainment was third rate, the food was average and because of a convention that was booked (and we where never told about)we got move to another bar which didn't even stock the drink we wanted. My wife and I where there to celebrate our Ruby Wedding! What a let down,What a shambles,We are absolutely disgusted!!
Food and staff were excellent as usual
Entertainment was poor the first night and non existent the second night despite advertising Cabaret both nights. They had booked an 18th birthday party so we couldn't use the downstairs bar on Saturday night!!
the breakfast was good
the room we were given was disgusting and filthy in the extreme- A new low
i was very very disappointed with the room i and my partner was in 316 first the noise from the industrail exstracter fan right out side kept me awake all nite friday and very earlie sunday wasnt bad enough .when i awoke on the saturday mornin after very little sleep i looked up and to my horror there was a sea of cobwebs right above my head.i was hoping the cleaner would of got them . but no one cleaned are room the two nites we stayed i wanted to be moved and complain . but my partner does not like confromtions so i left it .i bet the cobwebs are still there? we paid 137 bnb and added evening meals for an extra 40 so that makes it 177 for two nits which in my mind was very very poor value for that kind off money and sadly would not recamend you
The breakfast,reception area, public areas
Under the impression I had booked via booking rooms I had booked dinner, bed & breakfast, to be told I had only booked b&B... Lady receptionist very rude she needs some customer service training, shower very poor, television not working & no remote control in room
