Room was spacious and beautifully furnished. Large comfy bed and excellent ensuite. Breakfast was good. Lovely lounge area. The TV in the bedroom didn't work and the bedroom was very cold.

The owner, Maureen, could not have been nicer and made us feel really welcomed and at home. Still got a great breakfast despite drinking too much the night before and getting up late, whoops! This place is right beside Crieff hydro as there is a little path round the back which connects it. An ideal alternative for anyone going to weddings at the Hydro and wants to stay in Crieff on a budget!

Lovely house, beautiful setting, extremely friendly welcome, huge room, comfortable bed, everything worked, excellent breakfast in the morning. Our lovely hostess made us feel immediately at home, we were tired and flagging when we arrived but her friendly welcome, cup of tea and a biscuit and a chat got us back on our feet and out to the wedding we were attending, it was just what we needed. It was more like going to stay over with a friend.

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay, the rooms were beautifully decorated and the land lady was delightful. She was warm and friendly and made us so welcome. I particularly enjoyed my stay as I once lived in Newstead as a school girl, when it was once a boarding house. it was good to relive the memories from inside rather than just viewing from outside.

location didnt like having to use a portable railing for clothes while all drawers and wardrobes occupied with landladies clothes and personal possesions, had no key to premises, had no t.v in room, no ensuite, had to pay by cash, found landlady very intrusive and definately would not recommend

Excellent welcome and service provided by our friendly host Marion. She was extremely accommodating, and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are spacious, with fantastic views. Level of cleanliness was very high indeed, and we slept so well in the big comfortable bed! Nice attention to detail (E.G. real milk in room!) and nothing was too much trouble, we felt very looked after. Honestly couldn't think of anything - they think of everything - we found no fault whatsoever
