Good location close to seafront and city centre. Friendly hotel staff, quiet at night, we would stay there again when visiting Brighton. |

Comfortable hotel. Very helpful, cheerful staff. Good taxi ordering service to and from. Pleasant location with a communal garden at the front door. Very short walk to the beach and promenade. |

Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely local ingredients for breakfast. Bed comfortable but room and bathroom could do with a bit of updating |

Our hotel room was very clean and comfortable Our room looked on to the square and was noisy of a morning with comings and goings. At 6 am one morning a taxi was waiting with engine revving outside the hotel under our window. We understood check-in time at hotel to be 2 p.m. but people were arriving a lot earlier |

Staff very friendly and helpful but not over bearing. Lovely breakfast with plently of choice to cater for everyone, very flexible. Great location, down quiet side road but within 5 minutes walk of the pier/beach. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (triple room), given £10 off for the inconvenience, complimentary tea/coffee/juice - owner very apologetic. We were in the basement room no. 112, lovely spacious room with it's own outside area and a large bathroom - no shower bath only. Ample room for 3 with TV and tea/coffee tray. |

Charming staff, contemporary design of interior, good house wine. My brother and I had single rooms: we both slept badly because of horrible beds - one extremely hard, the other extremely soft. |

The staff were very accommodating and helped us from the minute we arrived to sort out parking. Althought this could have been tricky it was very well managed. We were shown around our room and informed about who we would be able to contact if needs be. The room was extremely clean and there was everything we needed. The street noise on the ground floor, front room was loud early in the morning. |

The furniture and decor of the hotel had been thoughtfully designed. It was an interesting and pleasing place to spend a night and a breakfast. All the staff were charming and efficient. The shower was all right, but it had a fixed head and the water temperature control was not easy to use. |

Spotless room and bathroom/ v. comfortable bed/nice view for a great price. Staff helpful and friendly. Daily parking permits can be purchased from the hotel but guests should be warned that parking in Brighton is very difficult. If the hotel can recommend streets that are likely to have spaces when they hand out the permits that would be helpful. |

Breakfast in bed! Awesome, croissants, pain au chocolat, warm bread and toast with jams cheese and ham, tea OJ, brilliant! Cooked breakfast the next day was pretty good aswell. Also that it was only a few 100 yds from beach. We were on the ground floor by the entrance, so it was a little noisy. I guess rooms on upper floors would be quieter? |
