From the moment you walk through the door you are pampered and welcomed like in a luxury hotel. Upon check-in, your assistant will walk you to your room and explain the facilities your room offers. Throughout your stay staff are on hand to assist with any queries. On check-out (after a hearty breakfast of course), staff will ensure you an efficient and memorable departure, wishing you a pleasant journey.

A personalised concierge service is at your disposal 24 hours a day for all requirements and needs.

A selection of conference rooms with full facilities for up to 55 people (theatre style), can be hired out on a room only basis, or on a selection of day and 24-hour delegate rates.

Food & beverage

All our room rates include a full English breakfast. The breakfast buffet has a selection of freshly baked croissants, delicious Danish pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, a selection of cheeses and cold meats, and fruit juices. Not to be beaten, the hot menu has a selection of English, vegetarian or vegan options, with all produce locally sourced and supplied from Sussex farmers.

In the evenings, the New Steine Bistro transforms into a cosy Parisian restaurant, offering homemade French cuisine along with British fare. Surrounded by regular art exhibitions and mellow, chilled music, it is the perfect place to enjoy exquisite food in a welcoming environment. Open 5 days a week, with extensive à la carte options and daily 3-course special menus, there is something to suit all tastes.

Room information

Whilst most hotel bedrooms are simply a place to sleep, these rooms are much more. Peaceful, quiet and a retreat from the city bustle, they provide the ideal place to muse over your day, at the end of which, you can sleep comfortably in the knowledge that everything has been taken care of. These rooms are well equipped to give a feeling of relaxed luxury.

Each of the bedrooms has been designed to incorporate comfort with modern needs. Whether indulging in the extensive room service menu (available 24 hours a day), catching up on the day on your laptop, even sleeping - you will find everything you could wish for and more.

Area information

Parking in Brighton can be difficult. The hotel sells parking vouchers at reception, with spaces located just a few minutes away. These vouchers are for the residents’ bays in Zone C, and are safe and secure. There is also an NCP car park nearby (off St. James Street). Alternatively, there are pay-meter bays on the Square, which are free of charge overnight (from 18:00 to 09:00).

Breakfast in bed! Awesome, croissants, pain au chocolat, warm bread and toast with jams cheese and ham, tea OJ, brilliant! Cooked breakfast the next day was pretty good aswell. Also that it was only a few 100 yds from beach.

We were on the ground floor by the entrance, so it was a little noisy. I guess rooms on upper floors would be quieter?

The staff were excellent, could not have been more helpful. The room was comfortable, the bed was partically good. Nice to have lovely big pillows! Breakfast was very good.

It was a bit noisy, but I'm not sure how this could be avoided as it was guests coming and going.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast menu was vareid and my food allergy was very helpfully catered for and the food really tasty.

Bed mattress quite uncomfortabel so I slept on top of my duvet and used the spare cotton blanket - that made sleep much easiwer.

Staff were friendly and polite and willing to help. Breakfast was served for a period longer than in other hotels and this was very nice as it allowed us to further enjoy our stay.
