Newton Farmhouse  

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the Newton Farmhouse. The Proprietors were extremely friendly and welcoming upon our arrival and throughout our visit. We stayed in one of the midrange double rooms with a four poster bed. Decor, linen and extra little touches were lovely. I looked at the reviews when I booked this hotel and noticed that someone had complained about the noise of traffic on the road. Our room was at the front of the property (roadside) and we were totally uneffected by the road. Breakfast was excellent. Good selection of cereal, fresh fruit salads/grapefruit etc and/or full cooked English. Would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends. Will be going back with my teenage boys later in the year.

This is a warm, welcoming and high quality b&B. As seasoned travellers we know what to expect and this exceeded. Lovely family, great rooms and wonderful breakfast. Attention to detail here is the order of the day. We look forward to going back next time with friends.

This was a last minute booking for us and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is beautiful and so are the couple running it. They can't do enough to help you with anything and make a point of giving you as much local information as they can. The breakfast is a truly lovely thing to wake up to as well. We felt that the farmhouse was in a near perfect location for us as it is right on the edge of the New Forest but also close to Salisbury, Southampton and Bournemouth. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone else wanting a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings.

A lovely and worm faimily run farmhouse

What a lovely farmhouse,was much more than we expected.We had a twin room,which was so lovely,but cannot wait to go back and and try the garden cottage with the grandchildren,they will have the time of their life there. Thank you David & Lizze for a lovely stay and those breakfasts,mine will never be the same. We booked this on reveiws so another 10/10.

Owners were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Room was a suite so large with separate living room. Breakfast was fantastic!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were made very welcome, both David & Lizzie were great hosts, first class service, couldn't have asked for more, a stunning farmhouse in a great location with a very friendly atmosphere, quite possibly the best farmhouse we've stayed at, a fab breakfast and the best sausages for miles, we will certainly be going back again!

The family were so welcoming and lovely it made for a really relaxing stay. The room was lovely, comfortable and had everything you could possible need. The facilities were to a high standard and spotless

A very warm and friendly atmosphere. We very much enjoyed our stay at Newton Farmhouse. The information we were given on arrival throughout our stay on where to go and what to do was excellent! The house was very homely and we would recommend it to friends looking for a short break.

This is a family run busines. The rooms are clean and comfotable. The breakfast is very good with a wide variety of foods including the traditional fry up. The staff are helpful and friendly. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will book again.
