Just opposite the Queen's College playing fields and a 10-minute walk from Oxford city centre, the Falcon B&B is within 2 late-Victorian town houses and offers views of the college boathouses.

Score from 333 reviews Very good
Comfortable lodgings. Nice food. Helpful staff. Excellent location.
It was clean WiFi working well Food was okay
We both slept badly, room design is creepy and not functional (weird lamps that weren't working) No common room to hang out, just a bed & breakfast, then out Expensive for just a bed in someone house
Near to bus stop and City Centre, Breakfast variety good. Room cleanliness good.
Floor boards creaked in our room and the room above!
Friendly and welcoming. Was met in the car park and offered help with my luggage. I stayed for 2 nights with my 5 year old daughter, Martin was very helpful and knowledgable about the area and recommended things to do, including the story museum which was excellent for children. Breakfast was very good. Had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to return : )
Nothing to dislike
Everything was lovely, and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Oxford hotels are really overpriced. Newton is a great alternative. Early check in (1pm), parking and it's central location made it a good choice for our needs. We had room 9 on the top floor. Plenty of room for the two of us and a lovely ensuite bathroom.
Breakfast was fine. Service was efficient but not friendly.
Great staff and lovely rooms
Room was clean and adequately furnished. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast okay.
Some way out of Oxford. Entrance and common areas bit tired.
The staff were friendly, comfortable beds and superb breakfast. Easy walking distance to Oxford.
Had front room bedroom very noisy where the traffic was non-stop all night. Very small bathroom - kept banging arm, leg against shower door.
The 2 gentlemen attending to us for the 2 mornings we were there were great, friendly, and helpful.
The room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were lovely without being overwhelming. When asked for directions, good restaraunts etc. they were very helpful and enquired later as to how we'd got on. The breakfasts were also very good.
They do need to spruce up the outside of the building as, when we first saw it we were a bit wary. Inside, however is immaculate and nicely decorated. Bigger bath towels would be nice too.
Breakfast was fabulous. Decor was modern. Staff was SUPER friendly.
Bit pricey for the lack of space. No AC on a hot day :(
Staffs are good
The room is very small
The benefit of free parking cannot be underestimated in Oxford! Very convenient. Only 10 or so minutes walk to key sites like Christchurch College, Covered Market, and Cornmarket. Friendly staff, cooked breakfast, clean room.
The room was a bit on the small side for us, as we had a 1 month old baby and lots of paraphernalia (pram, car seat, etc). It would be comfortable for a couple without baby equipment. Also, although it was convenient for us because we were attending a wedding at Christchurch College, this is located on the southern fringe of the town so a bit of a walk for sites such as the Ashmolean museum or University Parks. Recommended for people that are happy to walk a bit to see the sites.
10-15 minutes by foot to city center, bus station in front of accommodation, fair value for money, friendly staff, box spring bed, free wlan, easy check-in and -out,
some dead insects on blind, in bath some hair from previous tenant, bed is for large persons perhaps too small, small tv, small wardrobe,
Lovely furnishings in the rooms, bright and cheerful, exceptionally clean. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
The staff were very helpful - especially with my bags (I am nearly 7 months pregnant).
The smell in the bathroom - it was a bit like sewage.
very helpful staff; breakfast
It was handy to where we needed to go. We have stayed there before and found it great.
Location, easy walk into centre of Oxford. Breakfast quite good
Room rather gloomy, poor lighting.
Beds were very comfortable. Black out curtains were great. English breakfast was fantastic. Being able to walk into town was helpful to see the sights. We had a beautiful swim in outdoor Hinksey pool 5 minutes walk away.
It was very hot, even with the small fan running all night. We had the windows open but that meant the noise of traffic was disturbing.
Loved the staff, they excelled in everything. They were very helpful, always had a smile on their face. Breakfast was very good and bedroom was very comfortable. 10 min walk from the centre, even with a pushchair.
The location is superb. The room is very small but nice decorated.. It didn't bother us much because we went out most all the time anyway. The Breakfast was fresh prepared and good. Beside the fresh made english breakfast, there are always fruits, juices, yoghurt, and cereals on the buffet. The staffs were very friendly and very helpful.
The tiny Bathroom, there was no space at all to put your toiletteries. The TV was too small. We were there in the time of the World Cup,it was not enjoyable to watch the matches through it. The breakfast room in the cellar looked very old, I hope they will renovate it soon like they did to the other rooms.
Great location, close to the city centre yet very close and easy to access from the motorways and A roads. Pleasant and helpful staff, good breakfast. Would recommend this accommadation.
Good location, short walk or bus ride into city centre, convenience store next door, very friendly staff, comfortable beds, lovely decor, we had a new en suite shower room, breakfast was perfect, would definitely stay here again.
Probably could do with updating bedroom furniture at some point.
