Comfortable room; good bed; spotlessly clean; coffee/ tea-making facilities in room; TV; breakfast good- full English. Would stay here again. Limited choice of restaurants nearby, but there is a great little restaurant 5 minute walk, beside the river --"Riviera"- good food, very reasonable prices, attentive service, great location. Although muted, could hear guests in next room; it's more like a 20 minute walk from the city-centre if dragging luggage. However, there is a bus-stand right outside the door, so if booking here, try to get the bus number from the owner ahead of time. I saw there were plug adapters available which would have been handy as I brought a continental two-round-prong type hair dryer. However, it would have been good to know this beforehand, as I spotted these on the way downstairs to the basement level for breakfast. Despite these small inconveniences, this B&B is comfortable and I would stay here again. |

The guest house had a very Family type relaxed feel. They were most helpful, offering an umberella when raining then organising a taxi.On asking if we could leave the car there AFTER we had checked out, to make the most of the next day they actually put it in their garage, Excellent. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn't hot although I'm sure had I asked they would have done something about it. My friend asked for the vegetarian option and that was cooked fresh bit of a wait but piping hot. |

It was possible to walk into the city centre in 10 minutes; the person who served breakfast was friendly and helpful. Good t.v. reception and range of programmes. Reasonable car parking The room was not comfortable as it was very small with no room for chairs so we had to sit on the bed or go out. It was not a family run hotel as far as I could tell so there was no welcoming atmosphere but the two young people who served there (students?) were pleasant. There was no menu and no choice of main course at breakfast, just full English breakfast obviously made well in advance. The guesthouse was rather dark and gloomy inside, old and worn carpeting; the walls were thin so internal sound travelled through although in the back room there was no traffic noise from outside. |

Efficient staff. When there was a problem with the lighting in my room they quickly gave me another one. There is no elevator, which is a nuisance if you're located on the fourth floor. The charge for using the internet is a bit steep. I haven't seen guest reviews about this hotel, so I said "no" to the question below regarding this point. |

Friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast. Convenient location for the city with regular bus service outside and free parking The room was quite warm during the night which meant that we needed to open a window. However, as it was on a busy road, it was very noisy. The shower was very temperamental - very hot then very cold quite a bit of the time. |

Short walk to the center of Oxford. Nice staff. Comfortable beds. Our room was too close to the road and we could not have windows open at night. |

It was a pleasent stay, with a very nice host, good service and good breakfast! Room was alright, nicly british furnitured. The carpark was overfilled, so I needed to leave my key with the host, so he could re arrange the cars if nessecary! The room was out to the street, and therefor it was quite noisy... better get a room facing the carpark! |

The location is great - just 10 minutes walk into Oxford. The hotel parking is a real asset so that we could enjoy the city without worrying about the car! The hotel was very basic and the staff disappointing. They took no interest in us and talked with us as little as possible. I had to ask if we were alright to depart upon check-out, they never talked with us about our trip or to ensure that we were comfortable. Just no effort at all to make sure we would come again to their hotel. |

The proximity to the city centre, which was only a short walk from the guesthouse. Also, the friendly service from the staff, especially when serving breakfast. |

Quite close (walking distance-about 10 mins) to city center. Decent continental breakfast. Also, the rate was reasonable. The room and bathroom were terribly cramped, more like a room for a couple of small kids than for two adults. Also, it overlooked a main road and was noisy. |

Location was good with walking distance to town. Nice and spacious family room with 3 1/2 beds. Good English breakfast. Actually not. We were very satisfied. |
