Very comfortable room (4) with thoughtful touches such as lovely toiletries, and a digital radio. The hospitality tray was well stocked, as was the in-room mini bar. Excellent breakfast selection - probably the best we've had; served by friendly staff. Denise was a mine of information regarding restaurants and places of interest. The breakfast room decor was tired and could benefit from being brightened up.

The room certainly lived up to it's classification of superior, it truly had the wow factor. The breakfast was superb, best choice ever and we didn't mind waiting at all to have freshly cooked to order! Denise has put a lot of thought into the whole place. Even an honesty bar - how refreshing in this day and age. Nothing at all.

Denis was the ideal host, welcoming, friendly & helpful. Bedrooms were excellent with everything you could need & the best stoked hospitality tray I have ever seen in any level of hotel.Worthy of her 4* grade. Only one small thing, I was in room 9 which was on the ground floor, roadside. If you were a light sleeper then the traffic noise could be an issue. It did not bother me though.

Knaresborough was great so the location was fab for great walks pubs. There was so much to choose from at the super breakfast. We had a lovely comfortable bed & sleep.Thanks Denise : )

The room was very comfortable. The breakfast excellent. Most important to me was the fact that I was able to check in early — at 9.45 — after a 5-hour drive from the South Coast. I left early to avoid pre-Christmas traffic and was delighted to check in as soon as the journey was over.
