Located in the heart of the city. Staff were really kind and helpful.

The breakfast was poor

Great location for visiting the Kelvingrove Museum and the Glasgow School of Arts. Endless cafes and bar in this location so never short of a place to eat.

Room was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great in walking distance from the city centre. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. Private parking off the street was great.

Room was a bit small but seen other rooms and would request another one if I returned which I would at some point in time. Also location of the room made it a bit noisy so would ask to be away from reception desk which was manned 24 hours a day and very secure.

Personell was friendly. Bathroom was very clean and newly renovated.Good location. It was quiet. A short easy walk to railway stations, plenty of restaurants in the area. Room size was adequate for one person.

The bed seemed to be missing its top mattress. There was no bedding between the bottom bed part with all the springs and the bedsheet. It was very uncomfortable. Room 19. I can only recommend the hotell to others if a top matress is added to the bed. I assume this will be done since that will make the room very comfortable.

Extremely good value and well located; a friendly welcome; very clean and a good location.

I liked the room decor, it seemed modern, the reception looks great and the staff were on hand 24/7. I would book again, but would make sure it was a different room.

My self and a friend stayed in a family room at the front of the building on the ground floor. The noise at night was really bad, it sounded as if the window was open (which it wasn't) which disturbed our sleep a great deal.

The hotel room was confortable and had an excellent power shower. It is on the far end of Bath Street. This is a long street so it will take you 10-15 mins to walk to the city centre. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The room had a small flat-screen tv with Freeview and tea/coffee making facilities.

The hotel rooms are in the basement of the building which makes the rooms rather dark. The bedroom size is on the small side but the bathroom was adequate.

Absolutely fine. It's low budget but clean and functional.e again. Hard to fault if this is what you are looking for (as I am, as I have a very small budget for overnight stays.) I'll stay her

Watch out for the yellow peril (well they're blue in Glasgow.) In other words, look out for the traffic wardens who hide round corner and scuttle off if they see you coming. Horrible ********'s

The room was really clean and the staff were extremely friendly. It was very good value for money.

I would find it hard to complain about the Newton and will be booking a room again soon.

The location was excellent

Breakfast was awful, turkey rashers and the sausages had never seen any meat -yuk!!

fantastic wee place, suited my needs perfectly. Very central, plenty cool bars round a bout and in a safe area for walking home alone. Staff were really helpful, very friendly. Good Wifi access in rooms and lounge/lobby area. Breakfast was great and rooms clean and comfy. Nice and quiet too with the option of leaving luggage for free. No complaints at all :)

Everything. Excellent customer service considering we arrived quite late in the night. Excellent spacious room. Comfy. Clean. Extremely tidy. Can't fault the place. I would stay again.

The only thing i can think of is our shower door wasn't fitted tightly so water would leak on the floor quite heavily.

The rooms are veey spacious and clean. The bathroom is also immaculate and shower was fantastic.

I cant fault anything on my stay at all. The only thing I was slightly disappointed at was when I nade the booking there where no spaces for my car to be parked, making it a little more difficult to travel through, but other than that everything was fantastic.
