The staff were very friendly and the room was very spacious. The only thing I would improve is to have dressing gowns in the rooms. We had a superior room and I thought this would have come as standard as with previous hotel stays elsewhere!

We liked nothing. Booking request was for a Double Room and I did advise them that we will be arriving around 9pm. We arrived 9.10 pm. On arrival we were checked into a twin room . On complaing about this they showd us a double room which was more appropriate for a couple on their backing holiday rather than a 4Star facility. We refused the room. They then joined the two single beds to make a doulble in the first twin room they checked us into, which we had no choice but to accept. It took `1 hour & 40 minutes - ie it is now 10.50 pm So much for quite & restful night after a long flight from abroad !!!

Nice, small hotel with large and well kept grounds. Shower was awful - a drizzle at best from the unit due to awful water pressure. Holding the shower head above waist height would stop the water flowing! You should not be expected to take a sit-down shower in a 4 star hotel. Other rooms appeared to be ok other guests confirmed. Room service bill was incorrect as someone had added some random items to it but the excellent staff sorted this out when leaving.

The grounds are very pleasant and it was nice to take advantage of the spring sunshine. 1) There were blood stains (several) around the edge of my bathroom 2) The exterior needs painting 3) The borders at the back of the house, where the outdoor seating area is, need re-planting 4) There ought to be a spa/pool/health club 5) Dinner was overcooked
