As usual my booking request for a double bed was ignored and a twin given! The fron desk apologised and changed it, but on arrival at the room it was still a twin. The only way to get a double as to upgrade, and there was no allowance made for their error! However the hotel is ideally situated for business travellers and tourists. The public areas have, sine nh took it over, had mobey spent on them, but the bedrooms are now in need of an update/makeover. |

Generally clean, staff willing to help (changed me rooms twice), good location and easy access to public transport and city center, restaurants and shops in the vicinity. Reservation was made and confirmed for double, yet staff insisted, almost rudely, that reservation had been made for (not just received as) twin; second room on street, first floor, was unbearably noisy and I can't see how one can charge £185 for a room without double glazing (a modest expense) where it would be impossible to sleep (and if the hotel had been full and it had been impossible to ... |

Room was clean. Staff for the most part helpful. When we arrived at midnight we were told we werent booked in for that day. Reception seemed unwilling to accept that we were booked in despite our paper work proving so. After about 30 mins we finally got a room only to find the room smelling of cigarettes. We quickly got a new room. From then on everything was great |

The location of the hotel was excellent because it was on a direct route from the airport and the hotel was a very short walk from the station. |

Clean, facilities, friendly staff. Nice sixed room, modern bathroom. Charging £25 to credit card without the option of paying cash or barring the minibar and telephone. We were finally given these options after I asked copious questions. |

The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the location excellant The decor decor in the lobby and restaurant is not classic as pictured but remodeled in an ugly modern fashion. Check in and guest service lines were long. |

Great location, close to the underground station, nice area. The room was large with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. Very clean. Only negative thing was the noise coming from the corridors, you can hear every door slam. |

location, size of room. Checking in:- this took a very long time, queries could have been passed onto concierge or the concierge should have assisted with checking in. |

Great rooms, very clean. One minor grumble - The Mini Bar. As with many hotels, the Mini bar items were ridiculously expensive - even bottled water. If reduced by 50% to an acceptable price then their uptake would be greater, and they would still make a generous profit. |
