The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. We were warm and comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was generous and good quality. For accomodation in this lovely area we could not have done much better and would happily stay thete again. We would have preferred it if the door to the en-suite had closed completely but nothing stood out as less than good.

Easy going, friendly atmosphere, good "local" content in the bar. Good banter during football match. Good beer, food in restaurant was very good and the £16.95 3 course dinner an absolute bargain. Bedroom 5 had a boutique touch in the decorating and was comfortable. Bathroom clean & had a large walk in shower but basin taps need securing properly. Breakfast very good. Small issue with parking - got the impression locals use guest parking when they visit the pub but found parking place at the front of the hotel. Will definately visit again.

I stayed in room 1. The Room was above the bar which was not a nuisance until 21:30 when a very bad singer did a show until 00:40 hours. It was so loud that the early night I required was impossible. My 3 year old child was very upset so on serveral occasions I called the reception number but no one answered. I complained next day to the staff and was told owner would call me. I found owner who just was un sincere and didn't know he had people staying in that room or An entertainer. Bad customer relations with him. He should have refunded me half the money I'd paid back for the inconvience but he didn't care.

Booked at short notice - attending a family funeral. The Bull was ideal for our needs. We had 2 doubles, one was fully modernised and the other had a dated bathroom but I am sure this will rectified at some point. Woodbridge is a lovely town and I would return and use the Bull again. An ancient coach house that has been updated tastefully. Special mention for the breakfast which was excellent. All in all great for a short stay and real value for money. Our bathroom was dated and had a small corner bath with no shower which was a bit of a sqeeze for a big bloke like me but it was a late booking and it was all they had.

Very convenient location in the centre of Woodbridge, a typical old- style village hotel. Nice breakfast. Very poor quality beds, the mattresses need serious upgrading. We were on the top floor and water flow in the bathrooms was quite weak.

It was a lovely comfortable hotel, staff were very friendly and accomodating.Lovely location close to the town centre and the river. It was a beautiful day on saturday so a walk along the river was perfect with lots of seating dotted along the way. I would highly recommend the hotel, breakfast was cooked to order. I booked the four poster room which was lovely but the bed was very squeaky.

The food was very good and excellent value for money. Staff were very friendly although some were less professional than others. Lack of towel rail in the bathroom. Had to leave damp towels on the floor even though they had a sign advising you to leave the towels on the rack so they didnt change them daily. Lack of storage in the bathroom. Nowhere for the sponge bag. Space around the bed due to poor layout of furniture.

Very friendly welcome, staff efficient and confident. Food terrific, room cosy and comfortable. All in all a very relaxing break for both of us. This is not really a complaint but we did not have a towel rail in our bathroom, despite the fact that there was enough room for a stand up one. Also it would be nice to have a shelf or table for our toilet bags.

The bedroom of the suite was lovely and the bathroom was beautifully clean. Staff were friendly on arrival, at breakfast and at checkout. The "luxurious seating area" of our suite was a small room with one two-seat sofa, an armchair and a tiny TV. It was comfortable enough but it was not what I would have described as "luxurious". Also, the car park is really tight for space and the exit on to the road is tricky if you don't have someone to guide you. These shouldn't put you off staying but should be borne in mind.

The Bull Hotel and Restaurant was quiet yet in a central location and close to amenities. Parking was a problem and we had to park on the street. The ensuite shower was functional but very scruffy and in need of updating. The staff were not particularly proactive.

We were delighted by the welcome we received at The Bull Hotel. The service we received was of the highest quality. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. We enjoyed the bonus of live music during our stay which was a lovely surprise. The hotel is located in the heart of Woodbridge, meaning that we could wander around the town at our leisure and still only be ten minutes from base. Overall, the cost of our stay represented superb value for money.

The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. Some of the features were quirlky but that is what we loved about the place The only thing that I didn't like was that the tomotoes (tinned) were cold with the full English cooked breakfast

“I liked the combination of old-fashioned atmosphere with modern requirements. The food was excellent. I liked the decor, one example being the shell motif in the bathroom. Staff were courteous and unintrusive. Parking was easy. I would consider staying again.” Anne, Oxford |
