Stayed in a group of 5 young lads. Staff made us feel welcome then left us to settle in. Made us feel incredibly welcome and offered any help. Looked after us really well would happily stay again great value for money!
Just what we needed uncomplicated and all we wanted
very slightly impersonal
i liked how tidy and very clean the place was just like a 5 star hotel. definitely recommend this place
All fine. Friendly landlady, clean room and great breakfast. good value for money. Only problem for me was the traffic noise coming from the road.
Helpful, friendly welcome, convenient location for work.
The accommodation was just what I like no fuss & frills parking was good for my large van the accommodation was spotless , beds where comfy and slept well, breakfast was self serve cereal ,toast etc and was all fresh, although I am a contractor I do have standards and would be critical of cleanliness, this bed& breakfast was at the top of its game. We'll done.
If I where to criticise anything it would be that I wasn't prepared to pay by cash although there was a cash machine across the road to which I did. Payment was made and receipt given no problem.
Very clean and well equipped. The flexibility of the self service breakfast suited us as we had an early start the following morning. Beds were comfortable, and we had a good nights sleep, (no issues with the duvet as others have reported, and I am 1.95m tall). Easy to find, and well located with a choice of three dining options (two Indian and one Carvery) for an evening meal within 400m of Nine Elms .
The only thing was there wasn't an option for a cooked breakfast, but we knew that when we booked, and the self service option was better suited to our plans on this trip - see positives.
Nothing to not like!
Well stocked kitchen, left alone and not fussed over - joy.
The room had a ticking clock! I know its mad but I can't sleep with the tick, tick, tick. Thankfully the owner took it away
Another enjoyable stay at Nine Elms. The kitchen area is ideal for self-catering and the property is very good value for somewhere so close to the NEC.
Lovely host, very comfortable room, toiletries and breakfast were very pleasant. Excellent price compared to what else was on offer.
Quite comfortable, the room was clean, the dining room well stocked with a self serve breakfast
It was clean, but we found the quilts not wide enough, which made it very cold in the night.
Very clean, excellent facilities ideal for our visit to the Birmingham NEC. Welcoming and friendly host. Second time we've stayed and we'll definitely be staying again for our visit next year.
The worst thing I could say is this time we stayed in a different room from last year and there were no plug sockets near the mirror for hairdryer or straighteners etc but apart from that we couldn't fault anything.
This last minute booking en-route completely surprised me. It was a perfect stop over, with a friendly landlady and lovely room to make the ad-hoc stop a pleasure. Excellent kitchen / breakfast facilities - well stocked! Highly recommend
The fact the I don't work near enough to be able to stay again anytime soon
The locality was good near to the airport lovely comfortable beds.
It would have been nice having a cooked breakfast
Ideal location for NEC. A very friendly welcome; homely with free access to kitchen facilities and a refreshing "Do-it-Yourself" Continental Breakfast: generous selection of juice, fruits, yoghurts, cereals and a variety of breads. Good range of options for evening meals in the nearby area ranging from pub, to take-away or can even mini-supermarket with option to micro wave something in the kitchen. Clean and comfortable rooms - would stay again. Short drive to the City centre and NEC/airport.
Sleep quality disappointing: we had the only room WITHOUT double glazing so some road traffic noise all night long. Vertical blinds not blocking out the street lighting sufficiently. An internal window shared with the central stairwell meant the room was lit up every time other guests arrived during the night! Earplugs and eye-shades a must for this room.
Very nice rooms, cosy
Nice & helpful owner. Comfy beds with homely feel.
No signboard, easily missed.
Excellent room, large and very clean. Bathroom was also very clean. Host was excellent. Great stay
The owners are very friendly and approachable, facilities were excellent and dining room well stocked. rooms clean, comfortable and inviting.
