Great location near the City centre and very close to the Mailbox. Yes the rooms are very small and windowless but they offer all you need for a nights sleep. 42" plasma at the end of the bed is great. The bathroom is a wetroom so plenty of room in the shower. The whole hotel is very modern and clean, friendly and helpful staff too. Parking on the same road in a multi storey. Great place if you just want somewhere to sleep. There was nothing we didn't really like about the hotel but we were aware of the size of the rooms which seems to be peoples problem. If you can get over the fact that the rooms are about the same size as cabin on a train or boat then you'll be fine, that said, they are nice modern rooms. If you want room to swing a gerbil then these aren't for you.

Its location is so good. Just next to Crown Plaza Hotel and only 7 minutes far from Birmingham New Street Train Station by walk. On the other hand, very close to some bars and restaurants. Hotel is quite clean. Room is so small. There is even no place to put your luggage. There is no window. If you are alone and staying just for 1 or 2 days, it may be acceptable. But still you may not be so comfortable.

Remarkable value How about having one channel on the room TV that shows the outside view of the hotel area? With no window in the room this would be helpful in deciding what to wear before venturing out.

It was cheap and convenient in a good place, close to where I needed to be and to shops, bars and restaurants. Was also quiet at night. Maybe just a bit too clostrophobic, ok for a night or two, but also difficult with luggage. We did have a slight problem with the plug socket in the room not working so I couldn't charge my phone, although when I reported this to reception the game us a new room even before I had chance to explain.

I like the close location to the bullring and to broad street for the clubs and bar The rooms were way to small for the price you should pay no more than £30 for one of their rooms not £68

I wasn't quite sure what to expect as the rooms had been descibed as claustrophobic in various reviews. However the room was compact but big enough for two nights stay whilst attending a conference at the ICC only 3 minutes walk away. It was very clean and the staff much more friendly than any other city hotel I have stayed in. The little breakfast cafe downstairs was empty and the waitress friendly and helpful plus the coffee and refills were free. I had a two great night's sleep as the rooms were very well insulated and quiet again unlike other hotels I have experienced. If you're dithering about whether to book, as I was, don't. Just book it and see for your self. I would definitely use this hotel everytime I go to Birmingham from now on. Even better I paid less than half the price paid by all my fellow conference colleagues.

Really well designed pod style rooms. Very clean, comfortable. Bathroom/wetroom very good. Staff helpful. All in all a totally different concept for city hotels. But one I would recommend and there should be more of around the uk and fantastic value for money.

Very modern, comfortable and quiet. Loved the big flat screen television. The convenience of the deli/restaurant in the same location was definitely a plus for our short stay. A short walk from shopping. We booked this because we thought it was close to the train station and we could walk. Luckily we booked a taxi ahead of time. It took us a very confusing 10-minute drive.

Nice clean rooms. LocationStaff don,t engage with clients. Good breakfast in the cafe attached Staff don,t engage with clients. Rooms just too small and claustrophobic. For another 10 or 15 pounds you could get a normal sized room and maybe with breakfast. Not really a room to relax in. Ssaying all that I have stayed in worse and it would be ok for one night
