Great location near the City centre and very close to the Mailbox. Yes the rooms are very small and windowless but they offer all you need for a nights sleep. 42" plasma at the end of the bed is great. The bathroom is a wetroom so plenty of room in the shower. The whole hotel is very modern and clean, friendly and helpful staff too. Parking on the same road in a multi storey. Great place if you just want somewhere to sleep. There was nothing we didn't really like about the hotel but we were aware of the size of the rooms which seems to be peoples problem. If you can get over the fact that the rooms are about the same size as cabin on a train or boat then you'll be fine, that said, they are nice modern rooms. If you want room to swing a gerbil then these aren't for you.

Nite Nite, Holliday Street Birmingham. This hotel was chosen as other hotels nearby were fully booked at the time of buying nia tickets as it was located near to our friends hotels. My room was cold but switching on heat (electric fan) too loud and provided inadequate heat. Room small, which was expected when described "cabin style" but no hair dryer and no natural light. Wet room good but not spotless (stray hairs from previous occupant). The wall panel to control lighting, heating, shower etc. cannot be dimmed or turned off so constant bright green light at headboard level when trying to sleep. Duvet thin and of poor quality, combined with the heating issue I only felt warm once in the shower. A disturbed night's sleep because of noisy guests running along corridors, banging doors and shouting. No member of staff in attendance at this time to control behaviour. My friend who stayed on the same floor (level 1) but approximately 16 rooms away had the same experience thin duvet, cold room, noisy neighbours and too brightly lit control panel. I regularly, up to 60 nights per annum stay at hotels for business but am unable to recommend Nite Nite for any travel reason. The tariff is more expensive than a budget hotel and cannot recommend even as good night's sleep. Restaurant untried but did not look inviting. The whole weekend experience with the company of great friends, a good show and interesting location means I would return to central Birmingham for a shopping, entertainment and cultural experience but definitely not this hotel. Premier (opposite) where some of our group stayed was better value for money. We chose to meet there the following morning and can confirm they and we enjoyed a very good value, good service breakfast. Our group members had good experiences at both the Premier and Crowne Plaza nearby.

The rooms were good for the price we paid although they were small, so be aware of this. Think inside cabin on a cruise liner or ferry! Apart from that, it was good. Hair dryers were available at reception. Heating in the room was controlable easily so even though there were no windows, it wasn't too hot.

small, clean and comfortable - excellent if you are using it as a base. It would not fit the bill if you were intending to spend a lot of time in the room. Breakfast was spot on.

The room was cosy and unique perfect for just little old me! The location was amazing 5 minute walk from the train station and all the shopping, bars and restaurants. i was visiting the NEC for a gig and it was only 1 stop on the train, so handy and it was cheap. The hotel price was good compared to others around, including hostels and the staff were friendly and helpful. I agree with others the TV is too big for the room it was a bit ridiculous however I would definately stay again and again. If anything it would be that the TV was too big for the room and not sure how comfortable the room would have been for 2 people! Double room was just enough room for one really.

The entrance/lobby of the hotel is nice. It's light and spacious and the hotel staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean. The room was very small!! It was as wide as the bed and there was approx. 1 meter space between the side of the bed and the entrance to the bathroom. There were no windows in the room.

While the room was quite small (although I knew this before checking in as I read the description on their website) for me it was perfect for a visit to Birmingham. The bed was comfortable, great large TV screen and I couldn't fault the Shower Room/Toilet. Free use of online connection. Would use again, as is in a good location. NIL. I read their information before booking.

The price, the locatio and the big tv ! The rooms are the smallest I ever seen (but I knew they were going to be small). The frosted glass door for the bathroom...not much privacy !

Room was chic but very small, got used to the size once we settled in, would stay here around, great location, nice pleasant breakfast, I think the tv is too big for the room. After check out we left our bags at reception but on our return the restaurant was closed so there was no bathroom facilities available.

Cool, chic, fun little pod hotel. Standard room very small but perfectly adequate for most people for a short stay of 1 or maybe 2 nights. Rooms are funky and well equipped with wet room, huge tv, control panel by bed for lights and air con. Toilet had an issue that the cistern kept filling for ages after flushing - so was noisy. Could imagine you would hear everything if you had noisy neighbours though!!

Clean room, close to town. Tv in room did not work. Considering that the corridor and stairways were open plan to reception desk, the night staff on reception must have heard all the noise and commotion but did nothing about unruly behaviour of certain guests who were screaming and shouting up and down the corridors and banging on doors at about 3.30 until about 5am. Hence I did not get much sleep at all and felt very intimidated. Very very poor and a real shame!

It was compact!! If you literally want somewhere to crash that is clean and inexpensive, then this is your place. There is very little room to move but the facilities were modern, clean and comfortable. The location is central to all local spots and the day staff were very helpful. The only downside (which isn't the fault of the hotel) is that there was a lot of shouting and screaming in the corridor from drunken revellers. There are cameras that link down to reception and it would have been nice for the staff to have quietened them down. If I wasn't so tired, I would have done it myself! Would still recommend.
