Everything you need for a nite only stay.
Free wifi, large TV great shower
Doors loud bang when closing could hear everyone comings and going
Smell of the drains and had to keep asking for towels for two people and also had to renew door key because stayed two nights and it was registered for one!
Location, facilities and quirkiness.
Couldn`t but a plastic nitenite mug.
It was surprisingly cosy! Well presented, friendly atmosphere. The art decor of the hotel lobby was a pleasant surprise.
My only minor fault to the hotel was the extortionate drink and food prices.
The bar area was nice and comfy
As above - strange stain and no decaff
Only there for a night, it was perfect! A cosy room with shower, toilet and big double bed with TV! Definitely recommend!
The room, while small was awesome. The size of the room was perfect really!!
Nice big TV, the shower was amazing, good heating, the control panel for lighting and heating, nice lounge area with lots of books, and some funky furniture, felt safe as doors are locked at night and you have to have a key card to get back in.
No hand towel in room, no onsite parking as over the road parking was expensive and limited, no air con or cooling for when the room got hot after a shower, the bathroom door is frosted and has a small gap round it so not much privacy
Small room, and the worst thing- without a window! Bathroom also was a problem. When you take a shower water is everywhere on the floor and then you cannot use the bathroom normally for the next few hours.
The location was decent though tricky to find. The décor was quirky and though the room was extremely small, it was functional.
The staff seemed not to care. Check in required I leave £50 deposit in case I damaged the room as I was paying by cash and on check out the receptionist forgot to refund me. On seeking it back he did not enquire if the room remained intact and handed it over!! I asked for a second duvet the night I stayed and after waiting around 45 minutes, I had to ring down again and was casually told they had none, to have been told earlier would have been nice! Could not recommend it for more than one night as the double room was tiny and has no natural light. The hotel has potential, modern and a good rate but reception staff holding it back.
Cleanliness Bar and bar staff Bar and seating area cost
Very small bed for a double room
Modern look Good shower Big TV
Room 102 (busy corridor) No daylight Too compact
Very good central location Very clean
Extremely small rooms
not a lot
don't get fooled by the many photos of the entrance and lounge area. it is very small in reality. The external photo makes you believe that there are windows to the rooms (...wrong!) making you believe that you will stay in a hotel equivalent to a Travel Inn .The photos of the rooms are deceptive, you are sleeping in a small cupboard with no windows. the inside facilities are extremely basic.the wifi connections very poor too.
For the price it was fine. I liked the ensuite
No phone reception, and I wish there was obvious information that there is only a offsite car-park costing 14 pounds a day. Some kind of food bar paninis would be good
Style of the room and hotel
I've stayed at this hotel a few times and it suits my needs as a business traveller in the city
Hopefully this was just a one off. I stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel was cold and the room had a small room heater that was struggling to do the job as the normal temperature controls didn't appear to be working. Also there was no hot water the first night or morning. Not even warm. Not good on a wintry night. Hotel staff could not do much and did say a couple of other guests had told them as well.
Modern decor and plenty of space in the lobby to sit/work/read. Great location right next to the mailbox
The room was very tiny and didn't have a window. There was no place to hang your clothes or put your suitcase. The price was excellent and a great location, so for an overnight for one person it was a great choice but wouldn't recommend it for longer stays or double occupancy
Small but efficient room, didn't miss the window, central location for NIA and downtown Birmingham
Missed out on breakfest because misread orderform: must be returned to desk before 0:00
Location price Very good if you have a concert or other activity in the evening and just keen somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep.
after showering all of the shower room floor was wet including near the toilet. The shower room was also cold and the toilet was very low
Lovely modern room. Small but cosy
The cabin room was compact but modern and comfortable. The hotel was a couple of minutes walk from the barclaycard arena and the mailbox.
Room was so tiny. Basically just about fits a bed. No room to swing a cat
The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.
The heating was not working. I asked for this to be fixed 3 times during my stay and was assured that this would be taken care of. It was not and my room was extremely cold.
