We were lucky enough to get some nice weather and so the Loch was even more beautiful to look out over. The owner was a lovely lady, chatty and friendly. Gave us pointers for where to go for a walk at the next place along and also where to eat later at night. We could sit out on the decking and enjoy the views in the evening. Breakfast was HUGE! Filled us up for the day ahead. Highly recommend this B&B and will be going back again
The lack. The comfort of the house inside.
. There are broken pieces of glass in front of the house, in the garden. The environnement is quite poor.
- room with a VIEW ! - great breakfast - very kind host
- shared bathroom, but we don't mind
Set up Passion for B&B Fast broadband Compares favourably to 5* places View Comfortable bed VFM Warm welcome
Friendly welcome from owner; location - stunning views over Loch Fyne; food.
Knew it wasn't en-suite before we got there so no issues there.
When I pulled up outside the house I wondered what on earth I was letting myself in for. The owner was lovely and I loved the quirkiness of the bedroom. The view of the loch was so picturesque. Couldn't fault anything and breakfast was first class. The owner went beyond the call of duty by driving us into Inverary for a friend's wedding and also very kindly came to pick us up at the end of the evening.
Seonaid was welcoming and helpful as soon as I contacted her about our late arrival. We got to choose our room as we were the only people staying. Everything has been thought of; tea & coffee, biscuits, glasses, a plug for a hairdryer right under the mirror, even an adapter for European electrics and nice fluffy bathrobes for visiting the shared bathroom. The views were superb. The whole place has a very homely feel.
Some people might not like the fact that the shared bathroom is downstairs. It's so close it really isn't a problem.
Very attentive, helpful and interesting host. Beautiful setting next to loch. Excellent evening meal
Furnace is not a very attractive village.
Seonaid! welcome food view location number of places to visit within easy reach
Made to feel like holidaying in lovely auntie's home The view from the Windows were awesome. Food was excellent. Location was very refreshing. People were so welcoming and friendly.
Sharing bathroom, though I never had to wait
very friendly welcome, peaceful location, great breakfast
The location at the shore of the loch, the view from the bedroomwindow. It feels you're staying at home.
Warm, friendly welcome Fantastic view from very comfy bed Great walks around for the dogs and they were very welcome too
Not en-suite but had the place to myself so didn't matter this time
lovely views from rooms. great host and delicious breakfast.
Not far from Inverary, with rooms looking out over the water. The entire B&B was impeccably turned out and clean, rooms where plush and comfortable and our hostess was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
Wonderful view from room and breakfast room. Good welcome. Breakfast is correct.
Warm & friendly host - very attentive to our needs. Seonaid provided unexpected exceptional service when were sick. Our room was clean & comfy, with everything supplied. We had some enlightening conversation over hearty breakfast each morning. This little B'n'B, like it's owner, has lots of lovely character (not immediately appreciated on first impressions). A surprising gem, worth getting to know!
The exterior appearance of neighbouring properties is disappointing, & creates a poor first impression on arrival at No.15.
Loch side view Veggie breakfast including halloumi: yum! Home from home Lovely host Very comfy beds/bedding Lovely details: bathrobes, handmade soap, cookies and shortbread with tea making facilities
Mozzies: can't help with time of year and loch side If you were finikity about odd small plaster patch not painted orsmudgy sealant, may not be for you
We were very well taken care of by the owner. The dinner and breakfast were very good.
The location was not what I expected but was close to the things we wanted to do.
A very good hostess who provided a very good breakfast and an excellent evening meal by arrangement. Very helpful in every way when planning our time locally. A lovely, quiet lakeside location.
The location is about 7 miles from Inveraray. The downstairs shared bathroom is a little inconvenient.
excellent breakfast, beautiful view warm welcome
good food ,great views, friendly owner
midges but hey it is Scotland
Food and view were amazing
Midges in the room and bathroom downstairs
Fantastic views and so welcoming and relaxing
great view of the lock from the room . Excellent cooked breakfast
First impressions of the B&B. Overlooked the downstairs shared bathroom.
