Character home in a good position. Unfortunately the property has been sold and is closing.
As usual there is no shelf space in the bathroom for toiletries.
Very large comfortable room.
That I wil never be able to stay here again as I was the very last guest they had.
Location and friendly staff.
Breakfast was disjointed. Having to make our own tea and toast not ideal. Bathroom across landing can hardly be called private.
Beautiful house with beautiful garden. Made to feel at home
Excellent location and friendly, helpful hosts
Lack of blackout curtains in room meant waking with the sunrise
Very helpful about arrival and departure times. Made us a cup of tea when we arrived and let us use the lounge upstairs beyond the official check-out time whilst we were finishing getting ready for a wedding. Quiet location and plenty of room for parking in the road outside.
Shower thermostat broken. One bedroom was double booked so one couple had to sleep on the floor of the lounge. Bedroom A - no curtains so room was very light early in the morning. Bedroom B - could hear all the noise of staff moving around early in the morning in the kitchen above.
I liked the friendly welcome on arrival and the relaxed feeling about the place. The fridge was well stocked and Aldo went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. All in all, having travelled up from London to attend a wedding, we instantly relaxed so a big thank you to everyone.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Breakfast absolutely excellent served by Susie. Rooms and bed enormous. Welcoming host. However I understand No5 has been sold and will cease to trade as a B&B shortly.
Basin tap didn't work properly. Main issue was there appears to be absolutely no fire precautions - no smoke detectors, no fire escape and no fireproof doors. A big drop from first floor windows and no evacuation instructions. As the place is closing it's probably too late to do anything about it.
The welcome and friendliness of the owners and staff were second to none. The relaxed atmosphere was refreshingly different.
Slightly further out from the town centre than I was anticipating.
Super breakfast. welcoming owner and staff
Extremely helpful and friendly staff and owners.
Bathroom whilst private not ensuite.
Super friendly people
The light, airy rooms were delightful. Suzy was very helpful and friendly. The house was well situated with easy access to Great Malvern and all main roads.
We needed to get used to the "help yourself" service but once we did we relished the relaxed atmosphere.
The view was lovely and the breakfast was lovely too.
The bed linen was not very nice, the bed not made properly and the towels were just folded any old how. We thought the bathroom was next door, but in fact was across the hallway. We were pleased that we only stayed one night.
Excellent service and friendly staff. Good food.
Beautiful house and decor... Bohemian, homely and eclectic, could have moved straight in! Cleanliness was good and the Landlord attentive... Just right for our needs
Whilst the bedding was clean... I had to check!... it wasn't ironed and looked very crumpled.
Everything - just perfect
It's closing in June - forever :-(
Good location. Large room with comfy bed. Excellent view from large window.
Lack of hot water - except early morning!!. Only one bedside light. No hairdryer.
Lovely old House with beautiful views and large garden. Friendly atmosphere created by the staff. Suzie cooked and served excellent breakfasts and was so friendly. 10 out of 10 for Suzie.
Just a little thing but couldn't gat used to the headboards on the beds. I couldn't lean my head on it as it was an open cast iron type and uncomfortable.
A warm friendly welcome, a beautiful comfortable room, the best scrambled egg I've had anywhere, fresh flowers and great attention to detail throughout.
We found the fact that we could use the guest lounge when we arrived back after our night out and relax with a coffee which we could make in the kitchen. A friendly quirky house. Only a 10 minute walk from the centre.
The floor boards were a bit noisy but to be fair it is a older type of house and this gives it it's charm.
Relaxed and welcoming
The house is beautiful and the hosts are very friendly. The bed was comfortable.
We stayed in the basement apartment which was lovely, however the noise from upstairs (in particular footsteps - I think my bedroom was directly below the kitchen) was quite bad and meant an early wake up.
Great location and very convenient for the Three Counties Showground and for Great Malvern. Very pleasant company and extensive choice of breakfast. Beautifully decorated large bedroom with lovely view of the Severn Valley.
Didn't find a hairdryer in the room, but we had our own so didn't ask - perhaps one was available? There was a slight fault on one of the taps in the en suite. There was some TV noise from another room, and because of the wooden floors, sounds from downstairs travelled up into the room.
Amazing house - friendly hosts on arrival. Excellent breakfast cooked and served by lovely, cheery lady.
Felt it was a little overpriced.
