No 5 B And B  

Very spacious interior, relaxed atmosphere, well designed space, full of extremely thoughtful art works and design features. The lighting was superb.

The hosts are very welcoming. The whole atmosphere was informal and relaxed. The house is set in lovely surrounds - the wlk nto Great Malvern is a treat in itself.

Shower in my room wasn't heating. Why do hotels try to use electric hotels? they are great in summer but useless in winter!!!

Breakfast was very good = continental only but was an excellent spread - good staff - very friendly.

No.5 was an extremely welcoming B & B. The proprietors were extremely helpful, the opportunity to use the kitchen facilities was unexpected and a delight. The room was comfortable. It was a delightful stay and I will be recommending it to work colleagues and family and friends alike who wish to stay in that part of the country.

Friendly welcome. Continental breakfast made a change from Full English. Use of the kitchen was available which I thought a nice idea. Could have had an evening meal at B and B instead of eating out.

The accomdation was spacious clean nothing was any trouble

Design

I had a newly decorated room which had a new ensuite however the toilet had been poorly plumbed and its contents were back-feeding into the shower tray. Not very nice to look at or smell and hence no shower that morning. When I complained to the staff at Breakfast (only continental offered although there was a soft boiled egg but no egg cups to hold.....maybe it was meant to be hard boiled) he seemed to shrug his shoulders and just said its newly decorated room with apologies or offer of compensation or refund of any kind. Also the kettle in my room was only just big enough to boil an egg in. When I arrived there was no cups or mugs for coffee so I had to go to the kitchen to get one. Also no towels were in the room but the staff did bring some. I arrived at 7.30pm so they had plenty of time to prepare and check the room.

Lovely large rooms and very quiet area.

My hushand and I were attending a friends wedding in Worcestershire and needed a place to stay for 2 nights. I found this B & B online. From the photos and description it was exactly what I was looking for. However, on our arrival it was even better than I had imagined. The Victorian house is stunning and our room was spacious with a large bed and huge windows overlooking the gardens below. The decor is a nice mix of old and new and done very tastefully. The facilities were basic, but perfect for our needs. The atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful and the staff where friendly and made you feel right at home. The location is also perfect, a short walk into town and the Malvern Hills. Would definitely stay there again!

Although the bathroom was clean and neat, the shower pressure was abit disappointing. Could have been more powerful.

The house and garden were beautiful. The owners very friendly and helpful. We were able to use the kitchen, free wi-fi, gas barbecue in the garden. We were attending a wedding a few miles away, and the accommodation was perfect for our needs. The son of the owner even repaired my broken spectacles for me!

Warm welcome, very relaxed atmosphere, comfortable room, good breakfast, so laid back!!

This B&B is great - the house is lovely and has been refurbished extremely well. The soft furnishings make the place very homely. We were staying with another couple and we were allocated rooms with our own private lounge which was lovely. Felt like home from home. Very warm welcome and from then on we were left to our own devises - free range of kitchen if needed etc. Lovely views over the garden from the dining room - enjoyed watching the chickens roam as we ate (what we assumed might be) fresh boiled eggs. We will definitely be back if we are ever in Great Malvern again and will recommend to anyone staying in the area.

A really nice bed and breakfast hotel. Comfortable clean rooms and a good breakfast.The owners were very helpful. Pleasant lounge areas. The Malvern countryside was beautiful.

Only minor issues, milk in room out of date, no glasses in bathroom, no bath mat to stand on when coming out of shower

No ensuite facilities. Tea/coffee making facilities not complete and consumables not refreshed. Lack of comfortable chair in room.

Very friendly welcome and beautiful house. Huge rooms and plenty of space to use in the whole house. The kitchen was available for your use 24 hours with all facilities you could wish for.

No hairdryer in the rooms but you could borrow one. No curtains only blinds so the light woke us early.

The hotel is beautifully designed and furnished - elegant and stylish. Family run, we received a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location for Malvern town centre, the hills, and the Three Counties Show Ground - the purpose of our visit. Can't praise the hotel too highly.

We had a lovely w/end stay at No 5 and were made to feel really welcome. The house was just what we expected with all the old features but still had a modern feel......we would almost certainly stop again.

Good quality accommodation , well positioned , clean, friendly,nice design features, lovely to have a sitting room and kitchen to use.

We have stayed at No 5 on quite a few occasions when visiting family who live in the area. Tiff always makes everyone very welcome and its like being home from home. The relaxed atmosphere and the design inside the property make for a fantastic feeling, you can feel the stresses of everyday life slipping away as soon as you walk through the door. Wish more b & B's offered such a feeling. Great!
