Excellent,
Score from 136 reviews
At the center of a traditional countryside scene, this 16th-century hotel in the High Street has been named a conservation area; Charles II once stayed here. Noel Arms has a cozy bar with a fireplace, and a restaurant menu featuring local Cotswold produce. A coffee shop is opening soon. Chipping Campden is one of the most famous and best-loved towns in the Cotswolds, and it can be explored from this charming hotel. See pretty Cotswold stone buildings and the town's 14th-century church. Hotel Rooms: 26 Most recent booking for this hotel was yesterday at 12:57 from United Kingdom.

I can recomend it to fully mobile people!! As it is an exelent base. Room 8 has a major structural fault in the lhs window stonework which needs a structural engineer services as it eventually fail, causing partial collapse. There are many steep stairs and if you are not fully mobile it would be a problem.

Excellent location for touring around the Cotswolds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast to set you up for the day, seated in the conservatory. Used restaurant for evening meal - need to book, Good menu and lovely food. Room cosy. Good powerful shower. Although it has its own car park to the rear, there was never a free space for our Discovery, so we had to use one of the two disabled spaces. Fortunately there were no disabled guests staying that weekend - so not really a problem for us, but could be for someone. The alternative was a pay and display car park opposite the Hotel.

Superb location, lovely old pub, nice staff. Good breakfast, dog friendly, and quite genteel rusticity. There was a problem--the toilet broke just before midnight...And I mean BROKE--running and never filling, and very loud. A virtual torrent . Fortunately the barman was still there and he moved us after he couldn't fix it either--after much trying. It's a good thing he was still there-- he was about to leave!! There should be an emergency number located someplace obvious. All of this was quite disruptive as we had a long walk scheduled the next day and had to make do with only about five hours sleep, and we were still a bit jet lagged too. Many places would have just refunded the room. I've had that kind of experience in other hotels. I'm not demanding, so didn't bother to ask...but that kind of problem warrants some kind of generosity without having to ask!

Excellent staff, central location, large room and bathroom, convenient parking, good breakfast menu, loved seeing the variety of dogs through the hotel and bar during our stay. Slightly saggy sloping bed, breakfast starting before 8am on Saturday would have been helpful as we needed to leave at 8.15 for a horse riding lesson.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Noel Arms. Knowing that travelers have been staying there for 600 years made it so fitting as our home base for enjoying the Cotswolds. Breakfast was great everyday and the staff so helpful with directions and advice.

The hotel is a perfect get-away location for a quiet weekend break perfectly mixing relaxation with atmosphere. The staff are first rate, able to be attentive without at all being overbearing. The food is excellent and the in-house coffee shop is fantastic. The room we stayed in was in the 16th century part of the hotel and so was full of charwere directly over the busy bar w couldn't really hear the noise. We had a great stay and hope to return in the future. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been if on our third morning the cafetieres hadn't been pushed down before they were brought to our table because I prefer stronger coffee. But this is so insignificant it's hardly worth mentioning!

Excellent location in beautiful village and close to Stratford on Avon.Friendly staff, good food particularly the Valentine's dinner.Second concierge was helpful in changing our room. Location of first room(before changing to another) seemed that we were in car park. Had to keep curtains closed for privacy, and windows shut for security. The room was quite overheated so no ventilation. The wine was rather overpriced. The restaurant needs a 'meeter and greeter' at 7pm and not leave it to the waiting staff.

Everything except one factor [see below]. It has an excellent location and the rooms are very comfortable. The food is excellent from the breakfast to the dinner/supper menu. The addition of the coffee/tea room is an asset. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lighting in my room was very poor. They use low-energy bulbs which are not strong enough and an additional bedside lamp would have helped. I was told that the new owners are likely to remedy this.

It's location in the heart of Chipping Campden was perfect. The staff more very helpful and friendly. The room seemed a little dated but fitted in with the classic room you would expect in competitively priced country hotel.
