welcoming ,warm cosy,great food
The food and accommodation were excellent. Chipping Campden was lovely and it was close by to a number of other great locations.
Very friendly staff, good food and nice ambiance.
Nothing to fault
Great location. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant staff although some of the younger staff (South African?) need a little more training. I've used this hotel many times both for business and pleasure and really like it. Some money needs to be spent on it now though.
The hotel is now looking tired. Some carpets need replacing as a matter of urgency. Not the hotel it used to be but can certainly get back there with some TLC. £30 for my Jack Russell and Labrador is verging on the scandalous!
Beautiful old coaching inn with lots of character. Staff were excellent; customer service could not be faulted especially when the door lock on the room collapsed leaving one of us in the room with the key and the other outside! The night we ate in the hotel the food was excellent.
The hotel room was very tired; large stain on the bedspread and the bed valance had certainly seen better days. The sloping floor of the bedroom and bathroom was quaint but not good enough when the bathroom door would not close let alone lock. The inconsistency between breakfast on the first day and the second. Day one and my husband's "fry-up" and my porridge were very good. Day two and the same items were virtually inedible. Our expected 4 day break became 2 days only and we moved on.
Good location in a lovely village
No mobile phone service and little or no wi fi available in the hotel certainly none in the bedroom.
The Location was good The Breakfast was lovely
Extremely Poor service Nobody seemed to have specific rolls all working through each other. The right hand did not know what the left was doing, like something out of faulty towers. Definitely Over rated and Over priced in relation to service provided "A Bespoke Hotel" should be in a position to provide "A Bespoke Service" to their Clients First time that I could say we feel we have been really let down booking through this site on this occasion.
The caring manner of the staff very good with our dog. Food was excellent. Good central position in town to leave car and walk.
Lighting in room - poor Long up and down walk from Reception to Bedroom 18
Fully recommend staying at Noel arms the meals were excellent, and well situated in the Cotswold very comfortable hotel staff very good and friendly
Central location , ideal for exploring area, parking available . Curry night meal was good value but beware the strength of the curry....my mild one was hotter than hubby's!!
Charges to use spa facilities in sister hotel over the road...not made clear in hotel info initially.
Location Rooms for pets Cosy bar
Friendly welcome, good location, nice coffee area with cakes!
When we arrived the car park much reduced for a marquee to do with a car event generator cutting in overnight outside our ground floor window.Wouldnt have chosen this room if we had been forewarned but friend needed downstairs room
Had to cross back and forth to Cotswold hotel as although at end of wedding checked as instructed for key there, was told it was at noel wasn't. Able to get in main door at noel.Should have been told to go around back for entrance at noel. Thank goodness no rain at time,
See opposite. Loved hotel, food, value for money. Would love to. Stay longer!,
Location was good, staff friendly.
Portrays its accommodation as olde worlde. The room we stayed in was featureless in a bland extension in the car park. Our room on the ground floor had curtains which gave privacy but blacked out room. Typically staff in restaurant students and grossly overworked. When will hotels/ restaurants realise quality of service to customers has value. Had to send meal back too cold. Obviously been hanging around in the kitchen. No better than a travel lodge except for location.
Central location, comfortable room, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Coffee shop looked good too!
Slight confusion over dog-friendly rooms but all sorted out.
Lovely freshly cooked breakfast and good restaurant/pub meals in the evening. Large car park and great location on high st. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Very good value for money.
Hot water wasn't hot enough in shower
the location, the hotel atmosphere. The food at the restaurant was good and the service as well.
The room was cold, it was raining and for sure it would have been nice to get a warmer bedroom. There was not heating system in the bathroom.
The location. The food. Hot Bath
Having cold water in our basin and shower. Staff saying that this could be sorted out but was not. Otherwise we would have taken the alternative room offered that first morning.
Free parking. The restaurant "Huxly" across the street.
This place was centrally located and there were many walks that you could do right from the hotel. You could also catch buses to other places of interest. The food was the best!! They have an award winning chef!! We loved this place and when we visit the Cotswolds again we will definitely stay there.
Super 6' bed Excellent dinner and breakfast Generally liked all of it.
Foam pillows awful. Ground floor room was a bit stuffy but opened window and risked burglary!
Lovely atmosphere, always busy around the reception, bar and eating areas. Staff all friendly and helpful. Small but comfortable room with all you could need. Excellent shower and bath and I was pleased to find a hairdryer>
In reception, bar and coffee bar it was very understaffed but the few staff coped well. Carpet on the ground floor has seen better days. Staying for two nights, we would have appreciated some more shampoo and shower gel
Good food and a central location to lots of other places. Staff very pleasant
Very hot bedroom and furniture in bedroom quite old n creaky as were the floorboards.
