Had to cross back and forth to Cotswold hotel as although at end of wedding checked as instructed for key there, was told it was at noel wasn't. Able to get in main door at noel.Should have been told to go around back for entrance at noel. Thank goodness no rain at time,
See opposite. Loved hotel, food, value for money. Would love to. Stay longer!,
Location was good, staff friendly.
Portrays its accommodation as olde worlde. The room we stayed in was featureless in a bland extension in the car park. Our room on the ground floor had curtains which gave privacy but blacked out room. Typically staff in restaurant students and grossly overworked. When will hotels/ restaurants realise quality of service to customers has value. Had to send meal back too cold. Obviously been hanging around in the kitchen. No better than a travel lodge except for location.
Central location, comfortable room, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Coffee shop looked good too!
Slight confusion over dog-friendly rooms but all sorted out.
Lovely freshly cooked breakfast and good restaurant/pub meals in the evening. Large car park and great location on high st. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Very good value for money.
Hot water wasn't hot enough in shower
the location, the hotel atmosphere. The food at the restaurant was good and the service as well.
The room was cold, it was raining and for sure it would have been nice to get a warmer bedroom. There was not heating system in the bathroom.
The location. The food. Hot Bath
Having cold water in our basin and shower. Staff saying that this could be sorted out but was not. Otherwise we would have taken the alternative room offered that first morning.
Free parking. The restaurant "Huxly" across the street.
This place was centrally located and there were many walks that you could do right from the hotel. You could also catch buses to other places of interest. The food was the best!! They have an award winning chef!! We loved this place and when we visit the Cotswolds again we will definitely stay there.
Super 6' bed Excellent dinner and breakfast Generally liked all of it.
Foam pillows awful. Ground floor room was a bit stuffy but opened window and risked burglary!
Lovely atmosphere, always busy around the reception, bar and eating areas. Staff all friendly and helpful. Small but comfortable room with all you could need. Excellent shower and bath and I was pleased to find a hairdryer>
In reception, bar and coffee bar it was very understaffed but the few staff coped well. Carpet on the ground floor has seen better days. Staying for two nights, we would have appreciated some more shampoo and shower gel
Good food and a central location to lots of other places. Staff very pleasant
Very hot bedroom and furniture in bedroom quite old n creaky as were the floorboards.
Food, friendly competent staff, location.
Greatly overpriced, small and stuffy room with poor ventilation. Hotel is in need of much refurbishing.
nothing. we had reserved the hotel for two nights and after the first night we checked out the next morning and had to pay for the day we did not stay there. it says a lot that we were willing to forfeit our second day's rent rather than spend a second night there. the room was so small you could not move around in it and it was soooo HOT that we could not sleep. the heat was unbearable. there was a fan but that did not help at all. I would recommend avoiding the hotel. we are not picky travelers and don't like to waste money so for us to leave after one night and forfeit the second's night rent the hotel had a be pretty bad. In the USA we stay at 3 star hotels to give you an idea of the type of accommodations we are used to booking.
didn't like anything. checked out and forfeited our second night's rent the accommodations were so bad. the room was so hot that it was unbearable. it was very small and had a fan but that did not help at all.
The rooms were a nice size and comfortable.
The shower in the room did not run hot water,
The Friendly staff are an assett to this hotel, location is another important factor to a stay here, a real bonus to your stay is how dog friendly the hotel is.
The breakfast was understaffed on first morning not up to standard.
LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE COTSWOLDS ESPECIALLY CHIPPING CAMPDEN. HAD AN EXCELLENT TIME AT THE NOELS ARMS AND COULD NOT FAULT YOUR HOTEL AND HOSPITALITY.
Imaginative and good restaurant menu
Nice bar and restaurant
Price of the room too high for what you get. Room is noicy and already a bit older and could need some re decorating. For business purposes less suitable, no wifi on the room and no proper possibility to work behind a desk.
A really superb curry dinner & excellent breakfast
Central position in the Cotswolds close to most important sites
hotel amenities, staff friendly, breakfast great very close to other pubs restaurants etc, church gorgeous
pics on booking.com showed a roll top bath - it wasn't.
Central location, good parking, good facilities, additional use of spa facilities at neighbouring site, lovely historical Cotswold building.
The location was in the center of everything that you would like to do; a very charming town. The dinner menu and food was very good; although the service was terrible, either they were not responsive or couldn't remember your order correctly.
The hotel definitely needs some renovations and an elevator/lift would be a great addition. If you had a street front room, the noise of people visiting late in the night were annoying; and since there is no air-conditioning, you needed your windows open.
