the three days we were there we found everything about our stay very satisfactory'
the seating areas outside the hotel eg.picnic tables very grubby
Felt like I was in solitary confinement, our room was small with no windows, dripping shower head, only four channels on tv worked.
Entertainment was good. Fantastic female vocal
The bathroom was very dirty. There was a teddy boy convention on while we stopped there but wasn't warned of this. So was unable to sleep due to noise
Good tram service from outside hotel. Excellent power shower.
Horrible tea at breakfast. Ready made in an urn and luke warm.carnage at meal times to get into dining room. Corridors upstairs smelt of cigarette smoke. Room too hot and windows only opened a crack. Hotel decor generally tired .
easy access to the town to see the lights with the tram and bus stops both outside the gate.
Hotel is 'tired' but fine for b&b.
The absolutely dreadful rude and inefficient staff
Enjoyed the food and enjoyed the entertainment.
blackpool food was good
poor room had scuffy bathroom and it was very dirty dirty floors
Rooms needed some modernisation
Hotel dirty food shocking felt like we were in a home for the desperate people off the world would not reckomend this to the homeless a horrendous experience
Our trip was a disaster from start to finish we had to change rooms it was noisy and breakfast time was carnage you were lucky if you ate at all very disappointed with our stay
every thing, the food was good, the room was lovely, the furniture was old but it added to the caricature. of the hotel
Tea in the morning wasn't very warm in the dinning room.
Swim pool, sauna, sea view.breakfast very good.
Duvets too small.
The room, too old fasioned very noisy, could here the next room talking as if they were sat on the bed. plumbing very noisy. couldn't open window in on suite.very hot and steamy. had to wait ages for lift, as my daughter has a walking illness. room key stopped working and had to go back down to reception to get it sorted.big queue, need more than two staff on reception. will never or recommend this hotel to any friends or famliy.total waste of money.
fantastic mix of guests...you had a teddy doo going on in the hotel with guests dressing up in the rockabilly clothes you had a live band in the bar it was a fantastic night...plus we went to watch the live show of the young girls and lad singing and dancing they were fantastic had a fantastic night didnt go to our room till1.30am we had that much of a good time
i didnt find anything i didnt like
Auto upgrade to sea view room, tram stop opposite front door, friendly & helpful staff, good location-not too far from the attractions.
Decor needs tidying up & freshening, slow& noisy lift to Balmoral wing, thin walls-could hear next doors bathroom!
One of the female staff at breakfast was very rude to us on more than one occasion.
The staff were very polite and well mannered especially the restaurant staff.
Out of date rooms. Could do with a up date. Wallpaper coming of walls, sink & bath chipped in places. Mold on walls. Says it as internet!!! But only available in the bar area, not anywhere else.
easy to find
As usual the Norbreck Castle provided excellenent value for money. Plenty of food, well cooked and a good choice at dinner and Breakfast, from full English to cereals, porridge or frit and yogurt. Friendly helpful staff and a good pool and gym.
The hotels a tad tired and in need of some renovation, but still great value. Some guests dont help leaving rubbish lying around when its easy to use a bin and slamming doors in the late evening, but thats possible in any hotel and not the staffs fault.
First time we have stayed without the children and it was bliss..
Smoke detector kept bleeping with steam from the bath room.
Quiet location Staff friendly
Outdated decor Service tray - Very poor tea/coffee etc - bring your own!
I liked the warm friendly welcome, the staff were helpful. The food was great as was the entertainment in the evenings.
the room was very basic with cracks in the sink and bath, carpets very old and worn and place looked scruffy. but for the money and as a base it was fine.
Food was good
Not clean ' no one helped when we asked for clean towels. ' so we went to market and payed for some
Booked three rooms as a party only two were together two rooms were great but the third was on the other side of the building and very very poor room. Carpets and cleanliness and size were terrible.
