Entertainment, obliging staff,sea-view double aspect as added extra, parking, easy check in and out
Nothing.IF I had to complain it was probably that the bathroom needed a lick of paint and tlc but I am being picky.
The hotel was big and had a lot going on. They have a cinema (free) in the hotel and a little arcade. Swimming pool also. Very pleased
The decor needs updating but we expected that. Few stains on the carpet but it was very clean and well worth 100 quid for two nights for 2 adults and 2 kids. Would go again
just about every thing. the weather was bad but the service, staff, room and hotel were about the best ever for the money we payed
there was people complaining that the hotel was cold in the reception area. if your door opened on to the sea and it was blowing a gail i am sure your entrance would be cold, if they were not so LAZY and ensured the door was closed behind them instead of leaving it open it would be warm.
Use of swimming pool and spa added a lot to the short stay.
entertainment that is child friendly
very scruffy looking and needs a good clean
Customer service very good, allot to do here with good facilities. Lovely bar had a good night out.
Poor wifi a bit shabby in places.
It was excellent value for money. We were there for my son in law 40th birthday and my grandchildren enjoyed the location, The staff were lovely unlike what some reviews said The food was good too.
We were awake both nights with an horrendous noise from the radiators. When we could stand it no longer I had to go down to report it again at 3.30am we seemed to have the room that was most affected. However the manager got in touch with us not long after we reached home by letter which we were pleased about.
Excellent value for bed and breakfast. Breakfast was well worth its money..
Place was completely taken over by a cheer leader competition. Nowhere to park. Requested no smoking room but I think it was the only one on the whole floor based on the smell in the corridor. Central heating broken so an oil filled electric radiator had been left in room. The fuse tripped in the room as soon as we switched the kettle on too, plunging room in total black out. Toilet flush triggered the most horrendous noise from the pipeline I think but it must of disturbed most of the floor. Couldn't get out of the place quickly enough. Won't ever stay there again.
The friendly atmosphere
How cold the entertainment room was
entertainment and friendly staff
decor in need of a makeover
The public transport to town great situation of hotel brilliant cycling path walking over road breakfast stubstancial overall excellent value.car park inc free
the tea and coffee in the rooms could be a better quality .
Liked the position off the hotel, really good big car park and good access to local transport.Breakfasts were very good and staff very pleasant. Will stay there again.
Evening dinner could be a bit more varied, stayed three nights and had slight variations of the same three meats every night.
Facilities are good Bed surprisingly comfy although dirty bedding Bar open late Entertainment Cheap price
It was like staying in an igloo Staff very rude in bar area Bedding was dirty Once again unbearably cold!!!! With heating not on after certain times warming up with a hairdryer is as warm as it got Quite far from attractions
I Like the Norbreck I am staying there again in May
Availability of single rooms at good price Tea making facilities in room en suite Room clean and well serviced ( but see note re carpet) Staff friendly and helpful in my experience
Tea urns at breakfast, ability to make or have fresh tea in pots would be better. Thin duvet a little chilly Carpet in room could have done with a rug doctor clean. Noisy people in corridors when trying to sleep.
Receptionist in the end was pleasent and helpful
3 of the receptionists were incompetent at their job... poor room.. out dated.. wallpaper hanging off walls.. cobwebs in need a of a really good clean... np notice of a cherrleading convention
the entrement team very good
no follow up after partners accident
Availability, constant hot water, lovely re furbished bathroom, comfortable beds, ability to open bedroom windows (not normally able to).hustle and bustle off the young people at the cheerleader competition at the hotel.breakfast as good as ever.
We were put into the part of the hotel for smokers and being non smokers ourselves was difficult. When I questioned the manager I felt he was very disinterested as to whether we were happy in our room. The problem was made worse by myself opening the top drawer of the dressing table to find a mug full of cigarette ends in liquid that smelled repulsive. We were not offered different accommodation which would have been more suitable. From Friday night to Sunday afternoon the tv would not work on several channels due to the weather and when I mentioned it to reception I was told it would be put into the maintenance book again I felt the staff were disinterested in my complaint t
lots of entertainment in the hotel
bed was uncomfortable mattress hard

Really good value for money. Comfy bed and of a good size for such a low price. Will definitely stay again

COOPERFACED JACKS SHOULD BE OPEN LONGER TVS IN ROOMS REALLY POOR SHOULD HAVE FREE VIEW CHANNELS AT LEAST (OUR ROOM ONLY HAD 1,2,3 REST WERE FUZZY) HOTEL SHOULD RE INVEST IN A PAINT JOB WOULD MAKE HOTEL SO MUCH BETTER.
