the food was realy good nice comfortable clean room attentive staff will stay again next year good value for money have told friends and family to stay thanks for a realy nice stay
couldn't drink the tea or coffee but thanks for milk in my room made my own so didn't miss out
Location and space and parking.
The view out of the room was terrible and could have done with a good clear up .the breakfast should be organised better.
Even though the Norbeck requires money to be spent on it you can only applaude all the staff for how hard they work and how polite they are. The meals including breakfast are great, the entertainment could be better. A BIG well done to all the staff.
It would not cost a lot to clean up the exterior of the Norbreck , empty beer can's. Cigarette buts and the hotel sign letters hanging off the wall.
We found the hotel good and breakfast was excellent. Entrance to hotel very shabby and inside could do with up dating a bit but over all good
size of bedroom and bathroom
the wait for breakfast ,no fried eggs
Very dirty, scruffy -rooms and communal areas!!! Would NEVER return!!!
Staff pleasant and helpful. Catering food well cooked and good choices and too say that the kitchens were catering for such large numbers excellent.
The thump, thump, of the Disco until midnight. Thought this very inconsiderate for guests with families. I am not awkward but think the thumping sound of the disco should finish at 11.00 pm.
Breakfast was very poor, hair in food. Walls so thin, I could here everything from next door. Bed was uncomfortable
the evening show only lasts an hour but very good.
cramped room very small for 2.long wait for food buffet style.shampoo soap etc provided only once.carpet never hovered.
The location and facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Bedroom was tired and required decoration and new carpet as it was threadbare at the most used point at end of bed.
good value for money
wardrobe was not cleaned properly it was dusty not good for children with allergy.
Room very dated and dirty bedding marked,no blind at bathroom window so people can see in paint and wall paper peeling.
abrupt staff in the dining hall and bar. Food was the worst Expensive drinks Couldn't see the bottom of the pool Duct tape everywhere Run down.
staff were excellent, bed was old and past it, but very comfortable! Size of the hotel is amazing, lots of things to do including a cinema with three showings a day, gym and pool. The corridors are so big on the ground floor it was like the hotel out of the shining, you could ride a bike around it!
breakfast was cheap ingredients, queues were long. But I would not even consider staying again, purely because the rooms are so tired! wallpaper off walls, beds are held together, furniture is distressed naturally. When going down the corridor in the morning, all the other doors were open and ours looked like one of the best!
Food. Jacuzzi bath.clean sheets and towels.bar.staff. atmosphere. Sunset views .pool.position:-D:-D
Litter.cigarrett butts outside.broken furniture in room& no window.paper cups at coffee shop:-(:-(
location spot on for the trams .. staff excellent enjoyed my stay there would go again
could do with a little tlc on the inside
My 5 year old daughter thought it was fab... like a massive jungle of corridors. Great to have easy access to a very clean pool and well equipped changing rooms.
One couple in our party turned up at about midnight on the same day that the rest of us had turned up. We had paid for their room with ours and they had been allotted a room next to ours. On turning up and being given the key... they entered the room to find someone else in it! They were then sent to a different room at the other end of the hotel; and were woken up at 5am by the people in the room next to theirs watching T.V. The walls are so thin, it sounded like it was in their room, it was so loud!
pool breakfast staff shower
cleanlines of room tv limeted channels bath slow at draining
Room was looking tired. Damp smell and toilet stained
No smoking area
Breckfast was a shambles to money people trying to eat at the same time hotel a bit tired
There is not really anything to like about this hotel
All bad. Very dated and shabby throughout. We booked a family room for 4 people and were given a tatty room with 3 beds. Hotel very much in need of updating.
clientele food was appalling dirty hotel
The qeues for meals
Tram stop outside hotel. Staff friendly. Sea view.
1 small lift to serve hundreds of people! Often had to wait ages. Buffet breakfast utter chaios! Fight to get table. We tried all different times, it made no difference. Hotel shabby inside and out. Desparately in need of updating. Not particularly clean. Beds squeaky and uncomfortable. Couldn't get a table in bar either. Hotel can't cope with volume of people. Clearly quantity over quality at this hotel. I watched kids everywhere, in lifts etc... Glad to leave to get home for some peace.
