Friendly people good transport facilities
Dirty entrance. Sign board falling off
Food, service, near tram stop
Seemed to be a lot of early morning activity, either customers or staff coming and going on the corridor near Room 52
Was ok meals good plenty to have
bit outdated mabe needs revamp room a bit small bathroom had crack in sink, shower head very loose, lift very small, hard to use if getting in with few and luggage.
Fantastic breakfast
Dirty bedrooms ...and bathrooms ..but thats whatbu get for the price Have stayed here loads of times but i think no more .
Bed and bathroom clean
Dirty corridors in need of refurbishment
Leisure facilities were great, nice breakfast, room was clean and lovely big bathroom. Reception staff very welcoming.
Hotel decor was tired ripped carpet ect. Strong smell of urine near one of the lifts and dirty corridors. Tv in room was ancient with only 4 Chanels . the veiw was of a building site complete with old sofa and tyres !
We've stayed several times & although it's not the Ritz you won't get more pleasant & helpful staff anywhere else
Could definately do with a make over & the grounds cleaned up
meals and friendly helpful staff
This hotel does need a face lift. Couldn't see through the windows due to the double glazing failing. Old creaky bed.
nothing, the hotel was very shabby and in need of a full refurbishment
There was a long queue to check in and only 2 persons on reception. Our rooms were above a noisy function room and we asked to be moved There was no cabaret as advertised and the public areas (bar and restaurant) were dirty - the chairs were very stained and the carpet filthy. The breakfast times were too early for the weekend 7.30 to 9.30 - there was no fresh fruit at breakfast, no croissants or Danish pastries and no fresh bread, no continental breakfast and no fried eggs
Size of room
Noisy neighbours two nights then rang at 5:15am another day by mistake.Having to queue for food and the lift. Public toilet smelly had to go to room if needed the toilet. Would have liked more cabaret ! Only 30 or 40 mins most nights too late starting!!!
The hotel was very grubby, There was no coffee at breakfast, and not enough staff to assist. The food was very poor, with tasteless eggs, and cold uncooked toast
The breakfast was very good. Staff excellent and helpful Rest of the hotel was clean.
The evening meal was not so good. the fish was covered in to much bread crumbs and very little fish when removed. The entrance was very dirty needed a good sweep the glass inside the revolving doors was dirty.I also feel that wire mesh should be placed around the eves in porch way to stop the pigeons from messing everyware and neasting. first inpreshions are everthing
cinema for the kids swimming pool
room 761 bathroom all the sealant was black wallpaper hanging from bedroom walls, view from window terrible look on roofpipes
everything was clean and comfortable. The food was fantastic and a good variety. The staff were professional and friendly. The room was so.clean and comfortable. We travelled with a disabled child and every was accessible. Rebooked already.
Need better access in the front door. Revolving door was difficult only because other door.was.out of use.
Close to the tram
Very dirty everywhere in the hotel especially restaurant. Guests smoking in hotel foyer and rooms next to us. Decor disgraceful, paper peeling from walls. Mold. Carpets stuck together with gaffer tape. In comparison to the cliffs hotel there is no comparison for the same cost. Won't be returning.
Easy atmosphere, quiet area, rooms kept very clean.
Nothing
Dirty blooded sheets not clean annoying manager no respect
Large Car Park (although this did fill up and people were parking on the road) Tram & Bus Stops were ideal. Staff are polite but do not seem to have any real reason to go the extra bit for customers
The whole hotel is very tired and shabby looking (paper peeling from the walls tiles and bath stained) Pipework behind sink had not been cleaned in years. Lifts are hit and miss. Really think it is time this hotel had a major refurb.
swimming pool, games room
shabby rooms, quality of food
everthing about the hotel
queing for breakfest
