I did not like the place, it was a serious mistake to find myself there. Services for disabled is very very poor. I could not sleep at night because of faulty plumbing keep waking me and my family up when others use the wash room. It was like hell for me |

We stayed overnight justo save an early start the following day when we were attending an AGM being held there. The only thing we liked therefore was having somewhere to stay overnight. The hotel is shabby. Many parts of it are unused. You have to queue for your meals but not like a carvery, like a canteen. The carpets in the bar area are filthy and stained in parts and the chairs in the dining room (if you could call it that) are stained and dirty. It seemd like what I imagine a holiday camp in the 1950's would be like. |

Fantastic entertainment suitable for all ages Rooms are in need of serious modernisation. We were in room 351 a family room which smelt musty and had windows that didnt shut properlyso a constant howling was heard all night. Also all drinks machines had sold out so unable to get a drink to take to the room |

The staff were friendly & always spoke to you . The so called buffet service at mealtimes all the so called hot food was just warm. The sweets were virtually the same at every dinner. They were all cold. |

Good atmosphere, staff were friendly, live entertainment was good, breakfast was nice and we were seated quickly. I would stay there again. The shower console was a bit ropey, just needed some maintenance. |

Reasonable value for money, good car parking facilities Too far away from town centre, room too small, very busy at meal times, stage area was difficult to view from some bar areas. |

The Pool, bar area and reception were reasonable. The staff on the reception were welcoming, also the pool staff were very professional. We arrived down for breakfast at 09.10 hours, where queued at buffet only to find several items missing, we then asked for the missing items, and the member of staff dissapeared and never returned. Eventually another member of staff came across to ask why we were waiting, he went away to see where the missing items were, and returned to tell us that the buffet was closed. We then had to queue at another buffet line in the restaurant, where we eventually got our food. Trying to find a table, none of them had been cleared from the previous guests, we had to clear the table ourselves to sit down. On the whole we found the restaurant was run very badly, there appeared to plenty of staff just no organisation. |

the warm atmosphere and enterainment in the bar area excellent for families you dont have to leave the hotel as plenty to do the rooms are really grubby around the edges could do with a thorough clean around skirting boards and pipes. could do with the heating turned down as too hot in bar areas and bedrooms |

Going out of the Hotel. Nothing to like about it. It was hell on earth. Dirty, old fashioned, food terrible. Awful. Will never return there! |

This hotel was an excellent value break. A lovely leisure suite and a spa bath in our room. The room was clean and was cleaned each day and towels were changed. Breakfast was a little hectic with people queing to get in main dining area but we preferred the sea view from the conservatory. |

I spent 4 days with my 9 year old son at the Norbreck Castle hotel and found it very comfortable and a pleasant atmosphere on arrival. The reception staff were very helpfull. The use of the swimming pool was an added bonus. There could be a wider choice for the childrens menu other than nuggets and chips? |

The only part we enjoyed was eating at the Boston restaurant and of course checking out Pretty much everything, this was a very expensive break to stay at a dirty run-down building.(not worthy of being classed as a hotel). Food awful, except the Boston restaurant, people smoking in the corridors, a lot of european staff, breakfast and evening meal is like a cattle market, one of staff tried to bring me soup three times instead of a wine waiter (you can't get your own drinks!!). We had to queue to go swimming which was awful the heater was broke and far too much chlorine, your eyes stung before you got in the water. Almost everywhere you go in the building is rundown. The clientelle this building is looking for couldn't afford to stay there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The 1 Hour show at 10.00pm. The hotel was tired looking dull with a musky smell, Carpets were worn in places on the stairs. I felt it was not worth the money that you asked for to stay there for a week-end. |

The staff were friendly, breakfast was ok and car parking was good. The building is crumbling, the room was dated and a large heating pipe ran through the room making it uncomfortable during the night The lift broke down twice in three days. Needs a complete revamp.. |
