Norbreck Castle Hotel  

Its an old hotel from the 60/70 ties and crowded witch old People. Dont exepect to get what is on the picture, but its cheap so!

the hotel needs updating, the staff were sullen, they need to smile. tv only 3 stations and sound bad. eve meal expensive.

Exceptional Breafast Meal.

Lunch and evening meal was spoilt by using frozen vegatables for dinner and frozen fish at lunch time. Being a short ride from the local fish quay, fresh fish is easilly obtained.

didnt like the first room,didnt have breakfast nothing on menu we liked,so we eat out even though we paid for breakfast,the first room smelt of damp and was like a prison cell with no window, both tvs in each room didnt work properly

Tired worn out old building, well past it's sell by date. Needs lots of money spending on its interior decoration.

Our room was awful, it had no window which we were not told about when we booked in, bearing in mind we had booked this hotel in January for a wedding in the hotel, if we had had time I would have asked for a different room, but the wedding was at one and we had to get changed, my cousins were also in the next three rooms without windows and shaver points in the bathroom, and even worse no mattress cover on the bed just a sheet straight onto the mattress. Very bad in this day and age.

The leisure facilities were good

The response from some of the staff when going for breakfast. Spoke by one or two of them to us like we were unwelcome...

i wouldnt be staying in this hotel again

Food was great - breakfast well cooked a lot of choice. Got a good deal so can not grumble!

Room was out dated- cheap. Too hot and pipe work not only ugly-not boxed in-but very noisy, when room above flushed chain or used water! Ask for an upgrade be worth it as rooms ok but small.

Lots of old people only 1 lift and always a large queue

That it had swimming pool and entertainment quite at night time so got a good sleep

It was like a maze , where a lot of The over 70s did not know there way around I felt sorry for them , as it took me to find our way around

My room was supposed to be a non smoking room but it was definately not but the desk staff were very good and moved me

The spa was very enjoyable, breakfast was lovely. The hotel was fantastic value for money, location was great

The walls were thin so there was noise at around 7am from people watching tv or getting ready for breakfast

Entertainment kids loved its

Room was mouldy on walls when next room used any water it came up on drain on bath all you could here was the water noise every time flush was pulled in our bathroom did not even have shower or bath with children waited till gotmhome
