This Victorian building looks out over Blackpool's North Promenade to the sea. It is now a 4-star hotel and has an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, hot tub, steam room, gym and bar.
Score from 738 reviews Good
Good accomadation lovely view. Loved enterainement in the evenings.
More lifts in such a large hotel. Staff with their materials should have lift of their own.
Bedroom was ok comfortable but dated
The dining facilities were not particularly good it was a bit like a cattle market going for breakfast no organisation
breakfast was ok.staff very obliging.
freezing rooms.lumpy beds.very old fashioned paint peeling off walls .entertainment poor.too busy long queus for breakfast .needs money spent on it
Loved the location of the hotel, with a tram stop right outside, and plenty parking off street. Large room overlooking the sea with a TV was all we needed, plus we enjoyed few cheap drinks in the hotel bar as the night time entertainment was free and fun.
Breakfast was terrible/scary, the WiFi only works in the lobby, and our room could have done with a spring clean. Better outside area's for smokers and improve steps/ramps at the main entrance; as we saw two separate instances were elderly people fell over. Bigger towels could add some luxury!
Clean sheets, towels, facilities
Cigarette ends at door ways
The cheapness of the hotel and the ability to cater for large numbers
The state of the rooms and the public areas. Very tired and run down! Thread bare carpets and having to enter hotel through the disgusting smoking areas
reception staff very helpful when i asked to change our room. first room had a frosted window, could'nt see a thing,, had to change it felt claustraphobic.
very tired hotel, rooms need attention, decor cleanlines etc. used to stay here years ago and it was different again, it,s gone right done in my opinion. will never go again.
Dirty swimming pool, outdated room, ripped carpets.
peace and quiet food bar sea view
ran out of time to try out the pool and cinema
Its clean an good for older people ! Staff was plesant
The hotel needs up dateing very old
It was clean, friendly staff, breakfast was good, Good facilities.
Its an old hotel needs, needs a lick of paint and updating
Good value for money. Breakfast was very good.
Nothing i enjoyed my stay.
friendly staff, room and breakfast were great and location was spot on...I will be back soon....
the car parking
bird poo all over the front steps, not very inviting, could easily be remedied, the pillows were very lumpy need feather pillows.
Value room as we were intending spending all the time available in town the room was as good as it needed to be
Really hot room couldn't open the window brought it to the attention of reception staff sorted it out whilst we were out for the evening!
The food, the room, bar area.
The beds was comfortable, the food was nice a nice cheap get away.
Noisey at night as people go by the door, and the plumbing made a lot of norse.when taps was turned on and toilet was flushed.
The whole of the outside areas were littered with cigarette ends.
Comfortable laid back atmosphere.
It's in a good location where you can just park your car up, then if you want to go into the centre then the bus stop and tram stop are right outside hotel. Peaceful area.
Lack of consideration from other people staying at the hotel who make lots of noise. Cost of drinks in the pub within the hotel, and it was quite dirty.
The breakfast was very good with lots of choice.
When we visited the hotel 17 years ago both the accommodation and food were of a high standard. However we found the decoration in our room very dated. The evening meal consisted of 3 courses. But only the first course was served at your table. The other two courses were on hot plates in the centre of the room which you had to serve yourself. This had previously been a proper carvery.
choice of meals
ground floor room with on window at all
First time at the norbreck castle . We found it to be wonderful , lovely food great entertainment . Would differently stay there again .
The cleanliness of the hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. We shall definetly b returning. The food was gorgeous.
