Plenty of things to do for my granddaughter age 14 swimming and cinema and games room good .time had by all ages
The staff Being kept awake until 12am by loud music. People smoking in the rooms
the breakfast was exceptional. Loads of choice, well cooked and hot.
the wallpaper stuck down with celotape, the mildew in bathroom and bedroom, the dust and the stains on bed covers.
The bed was terrible the reception staff just sat while the queue to book in got bigger we gave up and went out came back 3 hours later and still queued 6 o'clock we got our keys Sunday the heating was turned off everybody sat in coats freezing. Never again
Great stay good breakfast great pool !
Haha the bed
Staff were helpful and pleasant. Location fairly good as opposite a tram stop.
Overall hotel looked very shabby and tired looking - most furniture and carpets needs replacing. We went during October half term period and breakfast was complete chaos and not very enjoyable. There was only a single location dispensing juice and we had to fight past lots of people to get to breakfast items. Door to bathroom did not fully shut. Lift was far too small for a hotel of this size and was always in use so often had to wait quite a long time. Unlikely to stay here again.
We paid for a superior sea view whilst it had a sea view that is all that could be said the room was scruffy paper hanging off the walls bathroom furniture loose stayewd one night of the four booked
the decor is dated and hanging off walls.. the meals dont do much..all frozen veg.little variety.. tv is old with poor reception and only basic channels..room furniture very poor indeed. wont book again
Event entertainment for children and swimming pool
The food was dreadfull
A very nice clean pleasant hotel, comfortable but dated decor but perfect in keeping with the castle theme, a very big castle/hotel with over 800 rooms over 5 floors, everything you could want including full size swimming pool, great entertainment, great food.
Real value for money
It is too far away from any attractions unless you drive which means you can't enjoy a drink because one of you will have to drive back the location was bad
Location, staff, power shower, clean. Would still recommend. I always stay here. Think this was just a nad room/night
Loud banging music until after 12.30 am Bed felt like it was tilted to the left. Only 2 tv channels accessible. Lid on kettle broken. Toilet too close to wall.
This hotel has it all, the staff are fantastic, food was brilliant, entertainment was fabulous, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, will be going again!!
Really nice quiet location. Tram stop opposite the hotel which takes you to the centre. Brilliant price.
Hotel was really hot making it slightly uncomfortable at times
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay n so did my son. We would go there again.
I was initially put off by some reviews but you should really give this hotel the credit it deserves. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the leisure facilities were a big hit with the kids. With just a short tram/bus ride into the centre of Blackpool the setting was perfect.
It is a big hotel popular with coach trips so it can get a bit hectic at breakfast time.
windows wouldnt close nets were dirty no curtains on bathroom stains on carpet and only 4 channels on tv not 4 star
The service was excellent nothing was too much trouble all members of staff were professional and the service in the dining room was fast, there were never any dirty dishes left on the tables and as soon as diners left the table was ready for the next customer within minutes. We would definitely go again.
There was nothing too bad, the bathroom although clean was a little disappointing and I wish there had been fruit salad or a cheese board after my evening meal but there were no major issues.
Staff were friendly
Got even a room with no window Room had other people's rubbish in it Change rooms still not much better Brackfast que was out of the door so didn't bother 50 people plus
The stay was nice the staff was lovely
The rooms what we had were not close together my daughter was at one end we were at the other
the staff very helpful and the breakfast very good vale for money
tv very old and basic only 3 channels working
Location, staff, price
TV in room only had channels 1,2,3&4. As two older ladies we would have appreciated Freeview as we were in bed before evening entertainment started. Apart from that everything was fine.
