Our stay at Norbury House was made particularly special by the attention and kindness we received from Paula (the owner). We were made to feel extremely welcome and at home from the start and were able to relax and rest. Our room was very comfortable (the most comfortable king-size bed!) and the view was lovely, particularly from the breakfast room.

This is my second occasion staying at the hotel and the original impression of a friendly, well-appointed and excellent establishment has been enhanced from the moment I arrived to the time that I left. The room was very clean with lovely views towards the sea. The (free) wifi works perfectly (not always the case in much bigger hotels) and I had plenty of space to relax. The option to use the lounge and (unique) bar facilities really make this a home from home. The breakfasts were good and the total ambience of the hotel perfect for resting and using as a base.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Norbury house. Paula, the owner, was such a wonderful host from the time we arrived to our departure. The building has been decorated to their tastes and I would describe it as traditional with hints of eclectic quirkiness. Breakfast is wonderful and can set one up for the day. Paula's recommendations for restaurants to eat and places to visit were spot on. We would certainly return.

Adam and Paula are very hospitable. We had a room high up on 3rd level, so tough for hauling luggage. Room comfortable. Breakfast very nice. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but street parking is no problem.

Great welcome.clean accomadation. No plug near mirror. No wardrobe, just hanging space on the wall.no individual pots or packs of jam and marmalade in dining room.may seem silly comment but dont want to use large jars where other guests have left butter in.

Adam and Paula were perfect hosts, recommending and booking places for us to eat. Breakfast was fab and the coffee on arrival much needed, we sat in the lounge every evening helping ourselves from the honesty bar which is a nice touch. The walks out the back of the house were amazing and we loved the tunnel beach and woolacombe. All in all a lovely relaxing 3 days.

We booked this hotel as my daughter Catherine was getting married at The Tunnels venue down the road. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, they found spare nuts and bolts to mend our vintage car, were absolutely charming to Cats friends who arrived to do her hair and nails. They even tidied her room after she left for the ceremony and allowed a babysitter to come in during the evening to babysit the 3 flower girls. The breakfasts were fabulous. I cannot over- praise them it was a perfect venue. I also recommend it for weekend breaks and get aways. We certainly hope to return to use it as a base for exploring the area.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Bedroom left a lot to be desired. Far too expensive for the quality of the room. Outside patio area very poor and dangerous for children.
