Traditional b&b. We used this hotel whilst doing the coast to coast on our bikes. It was directly on the route and 5 minutes walk into town. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. All we needed. Also had secure cycle storage.

The helpful proprietor and staff, and the very nice room. The bed was comfortable, everything was provided for my comfort, and the bathroom was beautiful - shining clean. Breakfast was just what I wanted, and arrangements were made for me to get in as I was arriving rather late. I can't think of anything!

Location, 10 minute walk into town. Helpful and knowledgeable, Paul knows the area and has colleagues who can provide outdoor activities etc if required. There is an excellent Italian resteraunt which has a steak night on a Wednesday which was recommended by Paul. Paul the owner is a very easy going and helpful person. The breakfast is a choice of fruit juices, cereal, and a full English if required. My room was on the top floor with an ensuite. room had tea and coffee facilities. Downstairs there is a lounge with TV and information about the area and things to do. There is a small secure car park at the rear of the property and also cycle storage available. A very pleasant stay and a new colleague, Will definitely use again. Nothing

I rang last minute and was welcomed by paul. He was helpful in everyway possible and even gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending for a good price. The breakfast was amazing and the choice was vast. The location was amazing if you are looking for a weekend in penrith centre. Also close dricing distance to all of penriths attractions The only thing I found a little wrong was breakfast orders had to be in by 8.45. I found this a little early after attending a wedding the night before, I feel 9.45 would be more suited

Outstanding support, information and service from Landlord Paul.(it was my first sole journey as an elderly woman.) Facilities and bed comfort were ideal. No background or traffic noises. Individual food preferences provided. Transport to and from the station and also out to the Dalemain Marmalade Festival - the purpose of my visit. Much appreciated. Not anything.

I came to Penrith for a last minute festival participation and found Norcroft through this site. It is much better value than similar establishments, great breakfasts are made to order each morning and owner Paul bends over backwards to accommodate, he is truly a class act. (He will drive you wherever you need to go if he is available and at a much better rate than the local taxis.) The place is just off the downtown core and is spotless with nice modern bathrooms. I truly lucked out with this booking!
