Location Historical Extremely tired Hotel, extortionate Bar prices, mediocre cooked Breakfast Hotel needs lots of TLC by Forestdale Group. Could be a flagship hotel if managed well.

Location and car parking. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast, cooked to order. Hotel run down and tired. Our room in annexe at rear was a good size and quiet but needs updating and replacement of worn furnishings.

Nice big room, good shower, very quiet at night, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, free on-site parking. One of the chairs in room 108 has a split in the cover (not a big deal, but struggling to find things not to like!)

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Service was prompt. Location was excellent - the street opposite has a number of very good restaurants, including The Bay Tree. And the price (£49) was very reasonable.

breakfast was top class , cooked to order nice and fresh with generous portions. while we appreciate the expense ,the room really did need bringing out of the eighties.first impressions were not good.

We liked the friendly and helpful staff. The sociable bar manager and the friendly, inclusive atmosphere in the hotel bar. The breakfast was very good. Parking, although limited, was very convenient. The hotel is very conveniently situated in the centre of the town.

The location was perfect for what we were looking for Despite having booked vegetarian breakfasts online, these had not been catered for on the first day - however, this was rectified on day 2. The mattress was hard and lumpy - room 103. One of the bard was closed on both evenings and the other was cold and there appeared to be no staff serving! We went elsewhere in Arundel.

The hotel is perfectly situated for local, countryside and coastal sightseeing and activities. Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating (our rooms situated away from evening wedding function - very quiet + staff ensured parking, etc.) rooms very clean and breakfast very good We had German friends with us and had expected that we would all enjoy a good meal on our first evening. The restaurant menu was very disappointing.That said, the basic food we ordered, was cooked very well . Ate elsewhere the following evening.
