Very good breakfast Modern bathroom Lovely gardens Plenty of parking
Room a bit on the small side
Staff we met were all very pleasant and helpful Space in the room. Heating at right level. Food choice for breakfast good. An old building so sounds from corridor/ other rooms muted. Nice and quiet. Loads of space for clothes etc.
Coming in on Saturday evening to find guests attending a function had used every available space in the car park !!! The manager sorted this out for me , but only just in time before another guest/resident pipped me to the place by his own garage. The room was too light at night due to light from corridor opposite at one end. Blackout linings would have helped. Or the lights turned off during night.
I chose this hotel due to ease of attending a funeral early the following morning. Hence I was not really thinking much about the hotel itself but I have no recollection of any problems.
The building was lovely with loads of character.
Accommodation was in a add on building with wafer thin walls and a lumpy mattress, no Bath. Nut close to anywhere. Appeared that more staff were needed as they struggled to man the bar, serve breakfast and check people in
All staff very accommodating. Hotel was clean and food was good. Would recommend hotel to friends.
My wife and I had returned from abroad, and wanted a quiet night before our three hour journey home. We got exactly what we wanted. Very cosy, staff were great, and breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Staff very friendly Food superb
We separated the twin beds and found a lot of dirt underneath leading me to believe that this area had not been hoovered for a long time.
Restaurant was very good, bed was very comfortable. Main hotel looked lovely and staff pleasant & efficient
Phone in room didn't work, toilet flusher was broken, grouting on floor of shower was grubby/missing, no mirror apart from inside wardrobe and room was very small & cramped
Cooked breakfast was tasty.
The soundproofing between rooms was not great. The wardrobe was very small
the price location
the bed was awful! room shabby layout of hotel really awkward staff not over helpful, breakfast average and service poor would only stay there again if location convenient for purpose
Staff made you feel very welcome, rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was very nice and plenty to eat,
Staff --young ,friendly, happy to help, cheerful. The staff made my visit all the more enjoyable.
bath /showers,I prefer a walk in shower as stepping into a bath to shower can be dangerous, not that I had an accident.
The hotel had home comforts and was very relaxing,
Staff all very helpful and welcoming.Excellent individually cooked breakfast.Dog friendly.Car parking no problems.
Room was very spacious, with everything you would expect. Breakfast all included with the price, and the food was great. Staff polite and very friendly. Overall very satisfied with the accommodation.
Dining Room facilities and food quality
Bathroom very smart but no rails to hang wet towels. Room service omitted to replace towel on one day and also only one drinking glass (both these resolved very quickly)
The young man on reception come waiter and barman was very polite and friendly.Nothing was a problem and couldnt have been more helpful.Comfortable spacious room.Pity he wasnt on the morning we were leaving.
Breakfast finishes at 9.00am on a weekday. When your away on holiday a little later would make all the difference. We called down to reception at 9.08am and were told we could have tea and toast as we were too late for a full english which was included in the price. Not very good customer service and soured what had been a lovely few days away.
Really cosy and comfortable hotel. Lovely atmosphere, really clean, our room in the old part of the hotel was large with a four poster bed, lovely. Breakfast was very good too. Will definately stay again when we next visit our relatives in Wythenshawe.
The staff are very friendly and I have stayed a few times in recent months
Friendly and efficient staff and good service
Meals from 7pm too late to eat No mobile service in room 241
Room size was very good. very pleasant and healpfull staff. good sleep and very decent breakfast. all round it did what we needed at a decent price..
Not much. ..being really picky..key to room didnt lock it from outside, so had to lock from inside then just shut door over.. worried the mrs's a bit at first..
English-style building, large garden ... in the green belt area ...! Angol stilusú épület...,nagy kert..., zöldövezeti környék...!
Very small, narrow room ..., double bed also small and uncomfortable .. the water pressure in the bathroom so tragic be unsuitable showers ... just breakfast from Monday tu Friday 9.00 pm only morning,,,, Nagyon kicsi, szűk szobák..., franciaágy szintén kicsi és kényelmetlen..., fürdőszobában a víznyomás tragikus ezáltal zuhanyozásra alkalmatlan..., reggelizés hétfőtől péntekig csak csak reggel 9 óráig lehet,,,,
friendly staff comfortable bedroom
poor selection of draught beers in bar
It was a nice quite hotel, and nice staff
I wouldn't have booked the hotel if i had known it was so far away from the centre of manchester.
