The Amblehurst Hotel is situated in the centre of Sale which also has a great bar and fantastic restaurant on its grounds.

Set in picturesque mature gardens, 19th-century Belmore Hotel has free Wi-Fi and free private parking is a 5-minute walk from the Metrolink service to Manchester city centre.
Score from 248 reviews Very good
This private accommodation has a personal, friendly approach and offers refurbished bedrooms with free Wi-Fi and a drinks tray. It is a short walk from Sale town centre.

Situated just under 2 miles from Manchester Airport’s terminal building, Holiday Inn Express Manchester Airport features a bar lounge and parking. It is just 10 miles from Manchester’s city centre.
Score from 694 reviews Very good
friendly staff comfortable bedroom
poor selection of draught beers in bar
It was a nice quite hotel, and nice staff
I wouldn't have booked the hotel if i had known it was so far away from the centre of manchester.
Friendly staff Handy for tram to city centre (if you could walk a bit)
Mediocre food Small room Tired hotel
The old english style and the location of the hotel for us was excellent. Our room was spacefull and light. It was very quiet at night. We loved the beautiful garden surrounding the hotel.
The bathroom was very tight and we had to request towels when we arrived. Then the only place to store towels was on the beds; there was no towel rail. The socket for the electrical shaver was above the mirror light, difficult to reach and not very functional. Overall the rooms could probably do with some modernisation.
Could not fault this place. Good value all round. Top quality staff.
Not being able to stay longer..
Dinner was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shown to our room, rather than the usual being given instructions and left to find it yourselves.
Rooms somewhat basic and cramped. Also, could hear other guests. When built, sound-proofing should have been considered. Breakfast was a bit spartan, top-ups had to be requested.
Family feel. Very welcoming. Ideal for my needs.
Poor telephone signal and no wifi available
Comfort and Location.
Breakfst cold food served. Evening meal charged for Sirloin Steak when I had consumed Entrecote Steak. Charged for A La Carte when I had the set meal. Difficulty in settleing the problem. When I stated that I would pay and refer the matter to the Credit Card providers a deduction was made. The restaurant waitresses for the evening meal were young and inexperienced. eg I asked for French Mustard and was served English Mustard.
I loved the whole feel of the hotel. The staff were super friendly. The room was lovely. Breakfast was more than substantial. I would definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff, spacious room. We used the hotel as an overnight stay for Manchester airport and had a pleasant time.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. Room was large.
Room smelled bad and was hot and musty. Room very dated - 60s seems like the era it was last updated. Plumbing is poor and there are separate hot and cold faucets in the sink which is ancient. Shower water temperature adjustment was difficult.
great value for money.
helpful staff comfort breakfast price tranquil atmosphere
Very friendly staff Very cosy atmosphere Great breakfast
Good parking and location close to hospital
Broken window, telephone, hairdryer and room needs updating by painting
Good old fashioned customer service, delicious food and a large room with character.
Would have liked bigger towels or at least 2 decent sized ones, rather than one tiny and one medium sized.
Nice hotel and gardens. Excellent breakfast. Excellent staff.
Hotel a bit tired needs freshened up. Noisy guests letting room doors bang shut and chatter in early hours.
Characterful small Hotel in a very pleasant area. Near to Train / Tram and easy by car to motorways. Stayed as a group and enjoyed the ambiance and the food. Evening meal was optional and very good.
Perhaps just getting a little tired in some area's but new work is ongoing.
Excellent breakfast, great service from the kind lady who served the breakfast.
I look at the positives in life, and there were many positives I could see at NormanHurst Hotel. That is good enough for me, do not prick on small rubbish in life.
Clean and friendly
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel main building is quite impressive, however there is a single storey accommodation block at the rear. The locks on the room doors are antiquated and offer limited security. The interior of my room was okay but the bed was a cheap divan with a mattress that should have been dumped years ago. I had an awful nights sleep. The bathroom washbasin mixer tap was insecure and revolved. The cook breakfast was very unimpressive, the eggs were overlooked probably because staff were late in starting service. All in all very unimpressive
Staff, location , restaurant and beautiful gardens
Great value with helpful staff, good food and nice surroundings.
Noise transfer from next room. Parking sometimes tricky.
Double rooms were excellent for single occupancy. Maybe a little small for 2. Rooms in annexe very quiet and modern fittings. Food and service in restaurant was very good . Lovely gardens to sit out in. Very convenient.
