Very good,
Score from 190 reviews
“ The staff were friendly and really cared about our needs and looked after us. The dinner was superb. We had a choice of 'set' or 'a la carte' menus but were able to choose from each to have exactly what we we wanted. Our room had both bath and shower with plenty of hot water as needed. ”

The service from the staff, the food was of a high standard and presented more for a 4 star hotel rather than a 3 star

Everything from driving into the car park. Staff very friendly and helpful the premises extremely clean with beautiful furnishings and character. Peaceful and relaxing environment with refreshing drinks at the bar looking over a very well kept garden. Breakfast a good selection of choices all freshly made to order. Sum up in a word "wonderful". A real shame didn't have the opportunity to experience the a la carte or set menu as this was unavailable due to hotel being quiet. Would have complete our stay.

The rooms were clean, airy and spacious. Restaurant with varied menu and all we tried was very good. The people helpul and riendly. All in all a good experience. Lovely garden. Abundant and well cooked breakast. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Too bad they did not have a lie, but you can hardly expect that in a hotel like that. The weather could have been better.....

This is our second trip to the Normanhurst Hotel. We are often in Manchester for business & visiting family . Rather than city centre hotels we now prefer to stay in this lovely , quiet ,countryside feeling guest house. We are often exhausted travelling from Australia , so the calm here is rejuvenating ! It has a lovely atmosphere , the staff are all exceptionally friendly & helpful . Breakfast is great & the restaurant menu varied. Highly recommended ! Breakfast finishes at 9 am during the week.

The staff were all excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them, a really proffesional team in all areas. I stayed in one of the newly renovated superior rooms which was spacious with great views of the lovely gardens. Large flatscreen tv, comfy bed, shower and bath, free wifi, couldn't ask for more. My evening meal was fantasic and really good value, again the service was fast and efficient. I'd recommend this hotel to all and will definitely be staying again. Thanks Normanhurst! Nothing, couldn't find any faults at all!

Comfortable bed The web sight shows a stunning building but when you check in and walk through the Hotel you are directed to an outer anex building which is shabby. The water fr the shower drained off into the bedroom and soaked the carpet
