Very good,
Score from 174 reviews
“ The staff were friendly and really cared about our needs and looked after us. The dinner was superb. We had a choice of 'set' or 'a la carte' menus but were able to choose from each to have exactly what we we wanted. ”

Comfortable bed The web sight shows a stunning building but when you check in and walk through the Hotel you are directed to an outer anex building which is shabby. The water fr the shower drained off into the bedroom and soaked the carpet

Lovely garden and conservatory but was disappointed with the rooms. Disappointed with the rooms. The toilet seat was broke, toilet didn't flush and the room was not very clean, the shower was also not clean so felt uncomfortable using it.

Very clean and tidy 1. Mirrors - only one in bathroom and a very small one in room (smaller than a plate size!) 2. Heating went off but after call to reception it was fixed 3. Not told when checking in no one would be available at early hours check out to settle bill.

The staff are very helpfull, and friendly, made us feel relaxed and welcome, the food was delicious . the service was excellant. The only complaint was, we had a twin room, [ which we asked for. ] but it was a very small room, and very narrow beds, which was unfortunate as we didn,t have the best sleep . :-(

Location - I was invited up by a business contact to the Manchester derby so the proximity to Old Trafford was very convenient. Nothing really springs to mind. Not luxury accommodation but clean and very acceptable for an overnight stay.

The team were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was really good. Hot and tasty. Continental option a little limited though Didn't have dinner here although tempted by menu There was no mirror in the bedroom which made straightening/drying hair quite difficult. Some odd smells down one of the corridors

Relaxed. Pets allowed. Very Clean. Nice b/fast. Good location for West Manchester. Excellent metro line into Manchester about 15 mins walk (parking at station though) It was -5c outside and rooms are a bit chilly, decor somewhat dated (but only to be expected at price)

The staff were cheerful, helpful and attentive. The food was excellent and the rooms very clean, comfortable and warm. The whole hotel was cosy with wood panelling open fires and a very cheerful inviting restaurant. We would definitely use this hotel again.

The meal I had in the restaurant was excellent The place was really "tired", and the room, even with the small electric radiator, was really cold (and this is normally my preference). However, when the shower would not get any warmer than tepid I was more than disappointed. When I was wet through and lathered in soap and the water went icy cold I was livid. Still shivering 2hrs later when I complained I was offered 10% off the bill - it should have been totally free, in fact I should have been rewarded for staying over! Never again.

Food was very good as was the service. Bed was comfortable and room was clean, which for me is an absolute must and staff made me feel very welcome. Unfortunately, the room was poorly heated and the shower was only warm and delivered very poor pressure. (perhaps it was only this room)

We have stayed here several times before and have be very satisfied with the staff and the accommodation. Also the food is good. The say was again very good with the one exception noted opposite. On one day this time we did not have our room cleaned, but were fortunately able to get fresh towels in the evening. On the same day the breakfast bacon was very much overdone. Someone else had a problem with eggs.It seemed as though there was a skeleton staff, perhaps because it was the Friday before Christmas.
