Staff were good, management were rude No parking available, had to park at another hotel. Only given one towel in a double bedroom. Toilet did not flush. Duvet was thin and uncomfortable. Breakfast was dissappointing. Building work was being done in the room next door. Although staff were helpful the hotel manager was rude and unhelpful. |

The owner was very friendly and went the extra mile to try and make sure our stay was comfortable. Friendly staff, good bar and lovely garden made it very attractive. Food both at dinner and breakfast was very good. Ideal location for easy access to the Metro. |

The staff were very helpful during our stay and helped us find our way to Old Trafford for a football match. Breakfast was included in the price and if really hungry were able to have extra helpings if required. The gardens were lovely and a nice place to relax on a warm day/ evening. At the time of our stay there were guests from a range of countries across europe all adding to the friendly atmosphere. The decor is looking a little tired.. Our room was ok for 1 night stay. Walls are very thin and one guest with persistant cough did keep me awake. There was a tray for refreshments however no spoons were left to stir my morning cuppa. The metro link was not working for all of August which meant that we had quite a long walk from the bus in the evening. The nearer bus stopped after 6pm. We did go the wrong way but a phone call to the hotel did put us back on track. Perhaps a map of local roads or a booklet with services could have been provided for people who dont know local area or have mobility issues and may be travelling/ walking streets in the dark. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is handy for the Manchester Metro, though this was closed for the whole of August 2009. The beds were uncomfortable and the soundproofing wasn't good, so the noises from plumbing and people moving round at night made it hard to sleep. |

The food was superb our compliments to the chef, also the waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. The only reason the cleanliness only scored fair was, there was rubbish in the drawers from the previous occupant although we left it there we wouldn't want anyone to think we had left it there. |

Convenience for our required location. Pleasant enough, needs a little money to tidy up ! Nothing from the menu later on, ie 9 o clock. |
