Premier Inn North Shields (Ferry Terminal)  

The room was immaculate and the bed large and comfortable. Nice clean bathroom with hot shower and plenty of space. Lots of parking, helpful pleasant day staff and we were able to leave our car 2 days whilst on a ferry trip. Tea and coffee making provided, (but no toiletries).

When we arrived at 11.50 there was no-one at the desk and no-one answered the night bell or phone, (which we could hear ringing through the door). After 20 minutes, when we were just about to go and look for another hotel, someone showed up at the desk, and said he had not heard the phone, though I had rung it pretty constantly for 20 mins.

The staff were extremely helpful. a shopping outlet close by with gym and other useful facilities.

the resteraunt was nice and friendly,but chose the chinese buffet which was awful. no meat in any dishes and all the sauces tasted the same, yet I heard another gentleman picked off the menu and it said it was lovely. Breakfast was excellent well worth the money all you can eat.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Close to most things but would say a car is a must.

No cigarette ashtray out front. Re locate ashtray on side of building to the front. Next to entrance was littered with fag ends. Lil unsightly. Great otherwise.

Being allocated room 16 , didnt sleep all night due to air con unit / boiler whinning.

Lovely welcome from Suzanne on arrival, room very clean and comfoftable. Excellent breakfast and couteous staff throught the stay.

The warm Geordie welcome we got from the receptionist and also from the breakfast staff.

Good, clean hotel, on site pub/restaurant. Good value for money. Friendly staff.

Good location if you need to be near Ferry with restaurant next door and outlet shopping centre nearby within walking distance.

Sadly when we made the booking it said 'breakfast included' - when we checked in we found this was not the case and had to pay extra. Also though our room was in an excellent position a very noisy person in the room above came in at 2am and was stamping round above us for an hour - very inconsiderate!

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly

Price - very expensive because of Great North Run. We paid more to stay here than in Greenwich for the Olympics

The front desk people were real helpful in giving us directions. The rooms were clean. Breakfast is served next door at a restaurant. We also bought our dinner at the same restaurant, because it was convenient and the only place near.

The location was hard to find.

It was very hot we had a fan which was great but still too hot so had to sleep with the window open with the noise of a generator ror such like which was very loud

somehow isolated place.. maybe because of its closeness to the ferry port

Huge disturbance all through the night from drunken wedding party. No regard for other people. But nothing the Inn could do about it.
